any tips on negotiating the initial price with your wedding venue before signing the contract?
I found if it's a package deal they would rather offer upgrades to seal the deal oppose to lowering the price.
If you look at getting married out of peak season or on a weekday/Sunday (January - March being the most off peak months) you have quite a bit of leverage to negotiate costs.
Look at picking a less popular date and then see if they can add on some bits for free or take bits out and swap them for something more expensive for to additional cost x
