Hi im getting married in may 2019. I am having 3 bridesmaids. Im having trouble with 2 of them i have asked if they dont mind paying for their hair and makeup and dresses as i am on a tight budget. As they have to pay they think that they should choose their own dresses and hair styles. Is that ok or should i have a say as it is my wedding. Im thinking well do they want to be a bridesmaid or would they just be more happier just to be guests. I would love all of them to look the same if being a bridesmaid any suggestions on what i can do or say to them?
I asked my moh if she'd mind paying for her dress, she was happy to, we sat down together though and she chose the dress, I liked it, so we were happy. I'd defo sit down with them all, find out what style they are thinking of, see if any are similar, then go try dresses, you may find they all fall in love with the same dress. X
You could go though styles and colours together and come to an agreement.
Hi it should be your choice of style and colour but they have to be comfortable wearing them, if they don't agree to this ask them if they would prefer coming as guests :)
If your asking them to pay for dresses/hair/make up they should have a say in what they're wearing; sit down together and discuss what you would like and see if you can come to a compromise.
I think you should all work out what eachother likes and will work together, styles and colours etc, hair styles I can’t see it being a big issue
If they are paying for their dresses, hair and makeup I think they have every right to have a big say on what they wear - after all you have asked them to be apart of your day, but you should be happy too. Maybe chose a select few dresses and hair styles that you would be happy with them wearing and say they can chose whatever they want from that selection.
