We have found our ideal venue at a slightly higher price than we expected as they only let you use their caterers. We have therefore chosen the May Bank Holiday Monday (27/05/2019) as it is the cheaper way to do it. Does anyone know if this is going to work out badly for suppliers etc.? It's in the Farnham, Surrey area. Thank you!

You should be absolutely fine, most still work if it's been booked in advance, which with weddings it is. Personally when you book anything, just double check and remind them it's a bank holiday and if they agree just get it writing as back up, x

Be sure to check the venue charge Monday rates on a bank holiday, the one's I looked at use a higher rate for bank holidays. Re suppliers, it should be fine but make it clear it's a bank holiday when asking them to quote so there aren't any nasty surprises later down the line.
