What's the least spent on a wedding?
My sister did if for around £1K. This was registery office first then a meal for about 20 guests in a hotel.
Dress and flowers all purchased online.
Ours was approx £3k. This included our 10 night all inclusive honeymoon
We've managed to do ours for around 3k. That's everything but a honeymoon x
Mines is about 14k
I just dont get how you can do it under 5k tho rings dress flowers invites food photographer dressing the venue its not possible
Purs is about 4 and a half thousand maybe a bit more x
We were approx £5k if not slightly less then about £2k extra for Honeymoon x
Well our venue alone is nearly 5k. If anyone has tips on keeping the rest of the costs down that'd be greatly appreciated.
Mines coming up at £14,000 xx
Ours is coming up to £20,000. But that is for 100 day guests and 200 in total in the evening but it's the wedding we want :) x
Somehow my venue package deal that costs £2500 has ended up with a £12,000 wedding.. that's in 6 months and we decided to get married last month so now we need to saveeeeee like never before
30K our wedding come to but that was everything
10k in Rhodes with a 2 week all inclusive holiday ️🇬🇷
Ours will come in at around 7K.
Mine was £10,000. We set a budget and didn't go over it. That included two dresses (total over £1000 together) as I didn't lose enough weight (yes that old chestnut! ) but I've already made back about £300 selling items we used and once I've sold the unworn dress will be nearer a £1000 back, so around £9,000 total x
Ours is coming in at just under £3000 for 70 people, which includes bridal car, dress, flowers, photographer, food etc but excludes the rings. It is in July next year and we will be praying for good weather as it is being held outdoors (but will have gazebos at the ready). Friends are paying for the photographer.
Our is coming in at around 5k
200 bridesmaid dresses
200 registry office
250 photographer and dj
750 hogroast for 90 day guests
450 hall and buffet for 130 guests
800 package deal for room decorations
100 hair and makeup
Mine cost £13,500 in total. 15,500 including honeymoon its the small hits that end up costing you more.
Ours was just under 5k. Most expensive was my dress. The rest we kept simple and it was the best day. X
Mine was about £600, all included. Would've been cheaper but my dad insisted on us inviting about ten more people than we originally decided on but he offered to pay the difference. Registry office, photos in the adjacent beautiful town hall grounds by a semi professional family friend photographer, starter and carvery for 22 people in a local hotel then had an open invitation for causal drinks in the other hotel where we had stayed the night (gift from parents in law). My mum had a blast doing the table decorations for us. Husband's suit was new, my dress was from eBay and I got the groomsmen and my dad all matching to my dress with the same color ties from eBay. My sister is a trained beautician and did my makeup for me. All arranged within about four weeks as we'd been engaged for two years but then I found out I was pregnant with my eldest and we decided to just get on with it.
Mine was about £2500 xx
If you don't feed people you can do it for cheap as you like. But when you start doing wedding breakfasts and complementary drinks it gets expensive x
I spent £2,000 on my wedding that's everything including outfits and food as we did our own food for reception
My 2nd wedding cost £35! The divorce was free!!!
I didnt want to spend a fortune on a lavish party that would be over with so quickly, so ours was £500- on Xmas eve. Registry office, followed by Xmas dinner at a local pub/restaurant :) hired a minibus to take us there and back, my dress was ex-display - £40, Hubby's suit matalan- £50, no bridesmaids or groomsmen, just family and our kids, rings on sale from h Samuel, I made my own bouquet and buttonholes, a photographer friend took our pics, I did my own make-up and a hairdresser friend did my hair :) not everyone's cup of tea, but was perfect for us. :)
Ours was just over £700. Registry office, then buffet for 50 people, at a local pub. Made most things ourselves including my dress and the cake.
Mine was just under 6k .... this inc
one ceremony in USA flights, dress , photos video etc
one ceremony in uk second dress , bms, day for 70 evening for 100
I reckon ours will be 15,000 including the honeymoon. We set the budget at 10,000, but things are just so expensive. It is just one day but I want it to be special and we don't have any children yet so we can afford it. My dress alone is £1000 before alterations. I couldn't find a cheaper one that I loved
Mine came in at £3800 for the lot. Included Reg office for 20, hotel reception for 36 day and 100 at night, DJ, 3 double rooms, table decs, cake, car ribbon, dress from China, new suit and shirt, tie, braces etc for groom, 1 young bridesmaid, favours, wine on tables (way too much, still drinking it at night), carafes to serve the wine in, rings, 2 week caravan tour of south coast and fuel, makeup and hair done on the day and hair trial and the wedding was on a Saturday and booked it 6 months before. All invitations, thank you cards and cake supports, post box for cards/gifts and guest book and confetti as well as buttonholes for 20 and 2 posys. Photography not included as this was gifted to us. But if you look around on eBay, Amazon etc get ideas and then make it up yourself you can save lots. Guests there during the day said they loved it and were liking it to another family wedding the prev year which cost 43k and thought ours was better. They were so shocked at the actual cost.
£2000 back in 2006 lunch for 30, dress from MONSOON sale, florist friend did the flowers, 3 tier cake from M&S, another friend was photographer

Plus we made & did our own photo booth & our neighbour's daughter was photographer for that & did an incredible job , sweet table , etc
Mine was in the days daddy paid so I have no idea .
ours is around £1300 x
Our wedding (including a uk honeymoon) for 50 day guests and approx 70 evening totals to about £3,800.
Ours is just under £2000 that includes everything. Even a small honey moon.
You can do a wedding for 500 if you do catering yourself get married in a register office in the afternoon then wgile your getting rady on the morning family members can take all the food down tomthe hall club or room ect whitch youncan hire for as little as 100 say 200 for register office 100 on food 50 on decorations youncan get a dj for as little as 100 pound if unwant any little extras ptobably aboutb600
£6000 but paid off over 2 years and essentially our dream day getting married beside the sea in Devon where I am from with 65 guests, drinks, dinner, evening hog roast, Dj, Bridesmaids bits, hair and makeup, dress, decorations, Dj and accommodation. Plan in advance and it can be done, do your research and just write down the things you really want, anything else is an added extra it's not about budget it's about your day and what you make of it
£1200. Registry office and then to the golf club (free) catering (£240) photographer (£500) dj (£175) favours i did myself and did my own sweet cart. Cake 3 tiers from Marks and spencers (£70). My dress I got online (£60) and the bridemaids dresses I got from quiz (£120 for both). I also decorated the room myself as it was disney themed. I invited 60 guests also I made my own bouquets and we purchased the rings a couple of years ago. Makeup and hair for myself and bridesmaids (£200) and the cars was (£270)
Surely the least would be just the registry office fee? So £250 ish? X
So far ours is coming in at £2358 just got a buffet to pay for and hubbys ring and outfit!
Mine was around £15,000 but we had 98 guests during the day and 200 in the evening x
Mines was £10,000 small but lovely
under £300 in 1997 :) Had a lovely new kitchen fitted with money left over!
Ours came to around £7.5k. This included dress ( veil, shoes, belt), 3 bridesmaid dresses shoes, 3 flower girl dresses shoes, hair, all flowers, a gorgeous village hall, a band for a barn dance, a hog roast for 100 people, 3 tier cake, photographer, alcohol, invitations and all decorations. We asked certain people to bring salad/deserts. The church was free as I grew up there. Some friends had a nice enough car to drive us around. We had cakes and tea and coffee after the ceremony, provided by friends and family. And the grooms family paid for the suit hire. The wedding favours were made by my aunt. Would have been cheaper if I didn't fall in love with a £2k dress
If you want cheap then don't be afraid to ask people for favours and decide what parts are the most important to you. Take time to look for the cheapest option and think about what you remember of other peoples weddings. A lot of the things people stress over are minor details that people don't look twice at xxx
£2700 for everything, 200 guests to both ceremony and festival reception xxx
I think mine came to less than £1000, my mum surprised me with a car and cake though (even including these it would have only skated around the £1000 mark).
