Hi brides! Need help with gifts for parents. So stuck with what to get them. Throw any ideas at me! Many thanks
I've got no idea either lol
Hi I don;t know either :)
I've seen a nice necklace for the mother in law, and in the box it says "thank you for raising the man of my dreams". My Fiance doesn't have a father but a friend of mine got her father in law a box which had a very nice whiskey flask and a nice pair of socks 😂
Engraved pen knife
We got flowers for moms and nans, bracelets for bridesmaids, dads had something engraved personalised to them, groomsmen had engraved zippo lighters, flower girls had a necklace and pageboy had a minion thank you picture for his room.
I also made my husband and my dad a Disc/video of pictures with backing music of our first dance for husband and father daughter dance music for my dad.

Engraved wallets for the men? Personalised pint glasses. Personalised flute glasses for women. Pic frame for each parent?. Xx
Could do this for parents and put there name and date on x
We did engraved photo frames "parents of the bride/groom" or "our son/daughters wedding day" with the date then made sure the photographer took photos to go in them x
Discreetly try and find out what sort of things they like. Flowers are always good.for mums. Or jewellery. Bottle of whiskey or tankard for dads
I got my dad a personalised handkerchief from eBay with a poem on about his daughter
My dad cries a lot so I'm thinking a hanky embroidered with a nice quote.
We recently married three weeks ago, our photographer offers a service where during the wedding breakfast he can print off selected photos from earlier in the day and frame them ready to give as gifts during the speeches. Our parents and grandparents were amazed with them as he had them done so quick! We couldn't decide on anything else so thought this was a great idea.
I had a personalised poem printed onto a cushion for me dad. Something special from me. But then during speeches the parents just got big flower bouquets xxx
I had a flute glass made for my mum and bunches of flowers for mums & my gran we didn't get my husbands dad a gift but I got my dad this..
Depends how much you've budgeted. We got both sets of parents Super Break vouchers so they could put them towards a weekend away somewhere after the wedding x
What's the tradition/reason for giving gifts to the parents? Neither of our family's are helping financially and we will be doing all the work seems an added extra cost I don't need and quite frankly one of those weird traditions that probably needs to go unless they have helped financially towards the cost of the wedding?
For my parents We got a voucher for one of their favourite restaurants as a thank you as they paid the bar bill! If they hadn't helped financially we probably wouldn't have bothered x
I got my dad a photo box with these words inscribed. Of all the walks we have taken this one is my favourite.
We got our father's pocket watches and our mother's watches engraved with "time is best spent with family" ordered from eBay and not very expensive at all.
We brought our bridesmaids - a bracelet, our flower girl - earrings, our mums - brooches, our dads - personalised brandy/whisky glasses. Our gifts all went along with our blue colour scheme too x
We got married last Saturday 9th September & we chose a nice vase & had an inscription engraved in my hand writing both my mum & mother in law loved them xx
Engraved vases I'm getting my mil and my mum xxx
I have these for little something on th day without making a show and then we are doing family tree kneckslace for the mums
