Really beautiful place with the most wonderful staff

We are so excited to host our wedding reception at Fairlawns. From the first viewing, we knew this would be the place we would love to celebrate our big day. Joanne is an amazing credit to the team, she answered all our questions and even suggested potential suppliers. The venue is very clean and definitely has a lot of potential.

This is a sentimental venue, as the bride used to go here as a family when she was younger to celebrate occassions. This is a beautiful place, staff are friendly and they like to let you make those personal touches to make your day so us.

If you are looking for a wedding venue then please look no further. The Fairlawns is the most amazing place. Not only is the venue and it’s grounds stunning, the staff are by far the best I have ever witnessed in nearly 20 years working in hospitality. From the planning right up until the big day and beyond, the care and attention we received made us feel truly special. Nothing was too much trouble and every possible need from all of our guests, young to old was catered for with ease. The food was of the highest quality from the wedding breakfast, outdoor pizza evening reception and breakfast served the following morning, all of our guests are still commenting on how amazing it was. John, your team did you proud and we cannot thank you enough. Special mention to Josh for helping plan the day, Attia, Siddique, and Becky for leading the front of house so effortlessly and Chris and his brigade of chefs for producing such exquisite food. This is a gem of a place!!!!

We just had our wedding here on the 13.5.23, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue! The staff were sensational, and all made you feel welcome and certainly made me and the bride feel special on our big day!!! Sadeek and Abbie especially were fantastic throughout our whole day from start to finish. The food was absolutely fantastic and ive had alot of people telling me how much they enjoyed it and also that its the best wedding venue they have been too!!!

Highly recommended the fairlawns for anyone who wishes to get married, they really do make your big day extra special!!!

What can I say- a week later and we are both still feeling so sad our wedding day is over. We had the most amazing time and couldn’t have wished for anything more perfect. Josh was our wedding coordinator and he was attentive to our every need from the moment we met him at the wedding fayre, until the day we sadly checked out. He is such a lovely and genuine person and it was clear how passionate he is about ensuring couples have a wonderful experience! Seddik was also absolutely amazing - he held everything together on our special day and went above and beyond to ensure that the day ran smoothly! During a bit of a nerve-racking time, he had the effortless ability to keep us at ease and we truly felt that we were in the safest of hands. All of our guests had the best time and several commented on how gorgeous the venue was and how friendly the staff were. The food was absolutely incredible and we’re already looking forward to making a return trip to the restaurant. We are beyond grateful to all the fairlawns staff for how lovely you all have been and how well you looked after us. We feel very lucky to live so close by so we can come back and visit, as the fairlawns is now a place that holds such happy memories for us.
Anyone thinking about getting married here should absolutely should! You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly, contemporary and flexible

Wow where do we start....

We delayed our wedding for a year because of covid! My god was it worth the wait.
Because of this it meant we had lots of visits to the hotel in the run up to the wedding and a cheeky spa break, after booking it as our venue. Every time we came to the hotel we fell in love with it more and more.
I stayed with my bridle party the night before the wedding, we had a lovely meal in the bar it was very relaxed and the staff took very good care of us. Especially T who kept the prosecco flowing and who had a brilliant sense of humour.

Our wedding day was the most perfect magical day we could have wished for. We had breakfast in the room while getting ready which was brilliant. Chris took very good care of us all during the run up to the wedding. Again great sense of humour, which really calmed the nerves.
All our family and friends had a brilliant time and everyone commented on the food and how amazing and friendly the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff made it so personal with Chris and T being around most of the day checking in on us at all times.

The day after the wedding we used the spa with family, it was lovely and relaxing just what we needed after a busy day the day before. We all then stayed for a Sunday roast in our own private room, again made very personal to us with T looking after us all and putting our wedding flowers on the middle of the table. The Sunday roast was the best Sunday roast we have ever had.

When organising the wedding Josh was always on hand to help. I must have emailed 1000s of times, nothing went without a reply.
We had a vision and the staff at fairlawns really did make that vision a reality, they dressed the tables for me with our own decorations. Even assembled the cheese cake we provided.
The morning after we even had help packing things away.

We would like to personally thank Josh, T , Chris,
Becky and all the reception staff you are all amazing.

We will definitely be back every year most likely on our anniversary to use the spa and definitely a Sunday roast. And anything inbetween if we can.

We would do it all again if we could, we would 100% recommend Fairlawns as a wedding venue.
