Working in various photographic studios since 1997, I started my photography business in 2014, opening my own studio in 2017. I love DOING the job! Working with people to create their perfect images.
Essentially, I AM a photographer!
That's what I do all day every day...when I'm not at home enjoying the best times with my little boy.
I have worked in photography since I left school, learning the technique and art from top industry professionals. I'm still learning and now regularly have my work scrutinised and reviewed by my peers at the British Institute of Professional Photography to make sure I am producing work consistent with being a professional.
Weddings are a special day for me as a photographer, I love being in the moment to capture the wide range of emotions people go through; the fun, the love, the stress and nervousness...the little details that you have spent long hours preparing to make your day as perfect as you want it to be and of course creating your own personal artwork of the only two people in the world at that special moment.
Yes some of what I do involves scenes being set up but not all and I'm certainly not the sort to say stand and smile. My work is more informally set and if I want a smile from you (if for one reason or another you're not already beaming from ear to ear on your wedding day) I'll talk with you properly and bring out the real emotion rather than a cheesy grin.
But the best way to get this sort of photography is to come and talk to me, So let's chat, let's get to know each other...I want to know who you both are, how you click, what makes you laugh, what makes you tick, then I can really start to include you and your personality in the photos I create for you.

Talk to your photographer, let them get to know you because if you can have fun with them on the day then you're going to have far more naturally happy looking photos.
