Morning all.
Sleep was very very unkind to me last night and I woke up with shooting pains through my ear. Still there a little but seem to be easing. Hope it is not an ear infection starting.

Morning all. Where did that weekend go? So tired today really didn't want to get up.
Nor did I, the alarm went off, I turned it off and laid there for a while, but thought I best get u or I'd fall asleep,
Weather is pants here today. Need to get a gift for a 2 year old nephew, it's his birthday on Wednesday, also finish off hubby's anniversary gifts for tomorrow. When in town yesterday I said to him oh anywhere or anything you need to get, he said nope. Part of me thinks he forgot until his mum turned up with a card and gifts for us. Today he's at work, so he shall most likely stop st @ldi as I thought and get a cheap bunch of flowers and a cheap bottle of fizz! To be honest, I'd rather he did not bother! So much thought has gone into his gifts,

I almost called in sick to work but im here my cold has gotten far worse today tablets don't seem to be budging it today! Heads pounding, throats sore, nose streaming and on top of that I feel sick! so I wish I was till in bed if it gets much worse I think ill be heading off home! my boss is so funny with sickness so makes me feel so uncomfortable asking to go home but when your ill your ill xx

Morning all. Wet and cold here. And work have managed to make a hash of sorting out my accommodation so instead of spending the morning getting ready for my exam this afternoon, I will be spending it making a dozen phone calls and sending emails. Life would be so much easier if they just let me sort things out myself. I really just want to quit this whole thing and go home to OH and my dog. :-(

Sarah it does my head in, I so want to say something, I'd be like oh for goodness sake, shut up! Not sit there and cuddle him and make him think it's ok to do what he is doing. He never interacts with many kids his age, the mum has older kids and her daughter had a kid the week before he was born, she's the only one he plays with. Then once a week the inlaws have him, he never goes to a toddler group, they are going to have such a hard time when he goes to preschool.

She only hates the dentist Sarah as she has a really wobbly tooth she thinks that they're going to pull-out that and I think she needs braces. Friend has just taken LO to school for me as raining bless her. Gotta go bribe my mum to take us to dentist now else the bus it is !! Hate the bus xx

Morning ladies, was soo dark this morning was so hard to get out of bed! Miserable here today too - wet, dark and drizzly. OH got up at 6 to go to the gym.. I can only admire his motivation!!!

I would be the same GF! I prob couldn't bite my tongue and id have to say it.
Every year I take my gran to visit her cousin in Berwick, she's now retired and looks after her great nephew, he is 5, we all went for lunch and he was a nightmare! His speech was terrible very baby like, he only like to go out to eat in certain places, he had a sippy cup to drink out of and constantly had to have different people do different things for him! he has been brought up to be kept like a baby has had no interaction with kids his age and always around adults! very sad I feel so sorry for him xx

Morning all. I went out for a friends brithday on saturday night, still suffering for it now, I hate getting older. It's a miserable day here, going to take lo to her swimming lesson then determined to sort my house out again as it looks like a bomb has gone off. Just need to find some motivation

OH got a text from the gym last night with a referral code so I think I'm going to join now. Will give him and I the first month for half price I believe so worth doing. The trouble is finding the motivation but I know it will make me feel sooo much better, just need to get over the motivation hurdle!!!

Yep agree with Flossie, when I used to do regular high impact aerobics three times a week if I got a cold it was gone really quickly.

That's a good offer Flossie, we got a free month when we joined last week so that was a bonus! Ive been 3 times to the gym and swimming once in the last week so im getting my motivation back xx

When you're into the rhythm it's fab, but once you fall off the wagon it's sooo hard to get back on it again! I know it will make me feel so much better though so just need to bite the bullet. xx

Yeah I was the same but now im enjoying it again! feels so good when you walk out after a session too, Ive been given a plan to help me tone up my whole body but with a few extras for my arms seen as my dress is strapless id like toned arms lol see how well that goes xx

I like going to the gym but I never really push myself there. There was a lady in my area advertising on fb for someone willing to do 1-2-1 training sessions, she's training to become a personal trainer so needs to do it as part of her assessments so if offering 36 hours of free training, went to talk to her yesterday what she's offering sound hard core one of the training styles is called cave man training, will find out later this week whether or not I get picked to do it.... not really got my hopes up anymore tho considering the state I was in yesterday lol. Julie B when I was in uni I used to be out 4 nights a week, now the thought of 4 nights out in a year terrifies me lol

New job has been busy but the lady I am shadowing is off sick today so I am stuck with not much to do!!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Went for my first dress fitting on Saturday, it was such an amazing experience and everything feels so real now! Took my mum, MOH and FG and they all said wow when they saw it prooperly for the first time :) xx

My ear is hurting still, it aches all around it in my head. Took ibuprofen when I got up and just took some paracetamol. Hopefully that will work. Showered, the bleached the shower, now heading out to get this gift. Suddenly thought that the supermarket M has toys on offer so will go in there are @rgo$ is out of the way for town. Am off to do that now then I can come home and chill and maybe catch up on last nights sleep, or lack of it.
My 14 yo has an appointment at the GP today, I called up just now and they said as its an urgent one we need to know what it is about, that annoys me, they are receptionists only and why should we tell them what is wrong. She found a lump on her breast, just below the nipple at the base of the aereola, I'm sure it is just a blocked duct but best get it checked to make sure.

GF receptionists are the worst I changed docs last year because of the last surgery I was at the receptionists were horrible! they also made the judgement that its not that important so im sure you wait! I got fed up and changed to same one as H2B and this surgery is much better, they don't ask any questions and when you have test results there not even aloud to look at them you have to speak to a doctor for any results over the phone, I had a heart monitor fitted before and had to call for the results as hosp sent them over to my docs and they said we will have a doc call you, luckily all was well and I had nothing to worry about but I think all surgeries should be that way xx

I would be so nervous about changing my GP as my Dr knows all my history but at the same time after the way that he spoke to me last time I was there not sure I would trust him any more

I was hesitant when I moved as I liked my doctor but the new surgery is 10 times better and the doctors are even nicer and more willing to do things, they don't just hand out tablets and send you off home xx

Been out and done the shopping, got the gift, popped to the M supermarket and got a good toy for £15, got hubby a bottle of berringer to go with his gifts. He just text to say he was on his way home, then text to say he was popping into town so I said Okies see you laters, and he said I'm only popping in, won't be long.
Was feeling a tad achey in my stomach today and just been greeted with Aunt Flo. Fab. Three days early. The rain hammered it down as I came out the shop and all the way home, seems to have eased Now though
