I spent a few pennies on my wedding dress and I designed it so I really don't want to sell it. It's a princess dress so it takes up quote a bit of room. I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do with it? Can u get it made into something else or preserved like you can flowers? Thanks in advance :) xx

Mine was dry cleaned and boxed up with non acid tissue paper. The box is a wedding dress box with a viewing window so no need to get it out of the box.

I've got a super large box with acid free tissue paper for mine, my girls are desperate for it when they get married so reluctant to sell it, they will most likely not want it when it comes to them getting hitched though.

I'm having mine put in a window frame and so will be folded and then put on the wall. I know it will be expensive but I love my dress and don't want it just gathering dust in the cupboard! X
I still need to do something with my dress, it's stuck in its bag in a cupboard (I feel quite sad that it's stuck there). X

^^^^ like velcro, mine is still in the bag, and not been cleaned yet. I won't be getting it cut up for anything like christenings (love my dress, plus we're not religious/church goers). So I guess I probably won't do anything with it, just get it cleaned and keep it.

I could never trash my dress!
I've been looking at a charity who turn them into gowns for angel babies, but a big selfish part of me wants to keep the dress. It's hanging in the spare bedroom in the dress bag, uncleaned.
I think I'll end up having it cleaned and stored though, and donate the flower girl dress that didn't get used as I ordered 2 sizes for one of the girls incase she did another growth spurt.
