Back to my shake diet today. Last week was a bad week I've put so much weight on and I feel and look horrible for it.

I've not been on much over the weekend as we have been busy busy.....
We've had a fantastic family weekend with 3 out of 4 of the children. Middlesborough, Whitby, out for dinner, ice cream and then chill out last night.....
OH has gone back down to Reading until Friday 14th August and LO is off to Skegness until Friday. Yipeeeeeee, I'm home alone all week. I'm ready for the peace and quiet lol.

I've come into the office to do some bits that are easier and faster with the connection at work, but as soon as they are done I'm heading back home. Need to be at home with the dog for the majority of this week to make sure he doesn't have any accidents - OH is off today, but would rather be back at home anyway lol.
We decided to go to the wedding reception for a couple of hours on Saturday night and came home to a lot of mess all over the house. Do not want that to happen again so will be staying at home with Oscar until he is better!!!

Oh also, had an email from my colleague saying my boss was rushed into surgery last night. He's been coughing up blood and they're not sure what the problem is I don't think but apparently it's very serious :/ so she's "in charge" in his absence which should be a bundle of laughs..... NOT. If she p*sses me off this week I am very likely to lose it!!

Hopefully he's on the mend, he's been eating much more for the past 2 days and kept it all down, just the other end that's the problem now! But he went 7 hours last night without going to the toilet and when he did go this morning not a lot came out, so hopefully it's "firming" up in there!!! (Sorry if too much info hahaha) xx

He didn't stay the night in the end, he stayed in all day but we took him home about 6.30. His bloods came back all fine etc. Fingers crossed he is getting there - not sure how much more I can take. Was nice to actually have an undisturbed night's sleep last night as have been getting up twice/three times a night for a week now!! xx

good start to the week we overlaid the alarm didn't go off not late for work but just put me out at home hate that. I'm badly burnt from the sun yesterday we did a boot fair and I forgot to take some sun screen I burn as soon as I look at the sun I'm a redhead with very fair skin :(

Oh no Emily, fingers crossed you get better soon. I've been feeling like I'm coming down with a cold for the past week but nothing seems to have materialised yet, so hopefully it stays away!!
It was quite painful making him eat last night, I was led on the floor with him feeding him his food one piece at a time as he wouldn't eat it out of the bowl... took forever but as long as he was eating I didn't mind! xx

Ahhhh glad he is getting there Flossie.
I'm probably being really stupid, and really should be grateful for this situation. When it comes to birthdays and christmas my parents treat step kids the same as mine, they are equal in their eyes, however, I've noticed that with hubby's parents, mine are not treats anywhere near the same. For birthdays my parents give all the kids £20 each, hubby's give mine £10 but his £20. Like I said, I should be grateful, but cannot help but feel hurt that they are not treated as equals like my parents do.

That's how I see it as well, I'm not fussed over the amount, just hurts to see mine are never going to be equal. My parents have a few step grandchildren and they are all treated the same as if they are they real grandchildren. I know if I say to hubby about it, I will get a response along the lines of what do you want me to do about it.

Probably just one of those things you have to accept, although it is unfair. My step brother and I were always treated as equals growing up and probably still are now. I guess it was easier though as it was just the 2 of us, if there were more children maybe it would have been different.

Oh gosh sorry to hear about Oscar Flossie!! Hopefully you can get home to him soon!! I started running my own business yesterday just to get some extra money for the wedding!! So i'm hoping thats going to take off and just be something extra for us so if anyone wants any make up (I'm sure you've got friends on facebook etc doing selfies hehe) let me know and I'll give you the link - got raffle on at the moment so keeping all crossed lmao!! OH is still in bed so I've taken the opportunity to come on here lol! Weather is looking pretty over cast here today but its still very warm so maybe the clouds will pass and we can wander out this afternoon!

Flossie, yep, that's what it is going to have to be, I shall have to accept it. His mum said to me the other day that she is going to stop buying for the older boys and they can have a card instead, she got my son a gift yesterday as its his 21st but after that it is just cards.
Also, the other day when I go back from work there was a bag on the table, I went to look in it, but hubby stopped me, he then said it was because he did not want me to see what he was wearing that night. But I've now found out it was because he got some gifts for my daughter from his two as mine got gifts for his two, even though that's because they are seen as siblings. He never done it for the other two as they had their birthdays before his.

My mums grandparents treated all 3 of us the same eventhough my sister has a different dad, but my dads parents treated our sister differently in regards of presents etc but both my mum and dad said to them if their going to do that then dont bother getting anything for any of the grand children and they soon changed after that xx
