Sounds like you've covered pretty much everything. I was going to say menu cards like Elinor if you're having them.
We're going to have various signs around the venue, not sure if you want anything like that but you could also do those using the same stationery if you do. Like we're having signs for the photobooth, explaining where to put gifts/cards, asking for people to sign our guestbook, an order of the day (which you've mentioned), one asking guests to take pics and upload to social media/W3dp1cs and one explaining we don't want people to sit on sides during the ceremony. xx

Flossie I have missed so much. Menu cards yes definitely thank you both! Need to say where to put cards etc so will add 5 sheets of each for that.
Plus some spares in case we decide to say where everything will be at the venue. Don't think we will be doing this at the moment but you never know, things might change

The only other that springs to my mind is whether you want to include RSVP cards? The lady that did ours included them for the day invites but we aren't bothering with them for the evening invites xx
CommentAuthorEmily17
I'm including that in the invites as we're having pocket fold and that will be one of the inserts. Thanks though :)

Ivory 160gsm h0bby cr@ft - 100 sheets £5 The red 240/250gsm I have looked on the bay. For the pearlescent its 50 sheets £8 so 250 sheets £40. For plain I found 250 for £42

Emily I found some lovely 160gsm card in th£ ranG3 for only £2.99! They were A4 sized though which is too small for me but thought of you when I saw it! I managed to get a new cutter with mat and ruler and some blue card for my pocketful inserts to go into!
My pocket folds are going to be about 43cm long when unfolded I'm trying to think of what's the best sized card to go for them

How many sheets though? Did you see? I'll have a look online now. Thank you xx
How come they're going to be so big? that's huge. You would need A3 for that but it would make a lot of wastage unless you could double up

Well I thought I measured them that long but now I'm having doubts! haha
The top flap is approz 7cm the outside part of it it then opens up to a 15cmx15cm square with the main invite section on it then the fold section is going to taped to another 15x15 square where all my inserts will fit
Does that sound at all right? lol!!
I'm fairly certain it was 100 sheets for £2.99 or £3.99 - had it in multi-coloured, white, ivory and black. I was looking on their website and couldn't see them - I just found it near all the glue bits and scrapbook section 3 or 4 shelves full xx

I'd say 7cm for the flap, 15cm for the main invite and then 14.7 for the folded in bit (if that's 15 too then there wont be room to fold the flap over - makes it 36.7cm but still too big for A4 which is a shame. Also too big to double up on A3 as its only 29.7cm high which would cut your square short.. that's a shame!! But definitely need A3
Hmm.. I wonder why not on their website then. It's usually very good to the actual stocks I've found.. I have bought the other stuff now so too late to turn back..

7cm 15cm 15cm 7cm frontfold Pocket where the inserts will go
<------> <------------> <------------> <------>
Want a square signature pocket fold with a front flap I can put a ribbon around - actually I think its 13.5cm not 15! I'm guna need to check the one I've already got lol xx

Just g00gled and I think I get it! Are you having the pocket on the right hand side so are including this as the length of card?? We are having ours at the bottom and attaching it separate so that's the difference and why I didn't get it I think

Ah yes! yes am having it on the right of the card so it would just be 1 long strip when cutting it out - I don't think I'd be able to do it attaching separately. xx

I worked out with ours we need a3 piece per each one but by time they are folded ect they fit in a c5 envelope ( so about 43cm) :) I didn't think to look at r@nge or h0bbycr@ft for paper as thought they might be took expensive but those r good prices. ( will have to go there now haha) have u measured ur pocketfolds n worked out how much you need Emily? And if so did u add extra in case of mistakes or just in case if so how much extra? I am really struggling to just bite the bullet n buy all the stuff haha. Have finally decided on colours now just need to Decide on Matt or pearlised as going to use same card for pocketfolds for name places so not sure if I want pearlised as think plain will look nicer but I dunno :/ x
CommentAuthorEmily17
Kayleigh at least we have worked it out!!! :)
Well my base is a full A4 + pocket so have said 1.5 sheets = 75 sheets for 50 invites Inserts, were having 4 which again works out at just under 1.5 because can fit 3 per sheet of A4 and just one extra. need the inserts in red and ivory = 75 sheets red, 75 sheets ivory
in terms of spares I went on pack size. for everything above I needed 253 red and 136 ivory. Red comes in pack of 50 so will order an extra pack and have 300 sheets Ivory comes in 100 pack so have got 2 packs - 200 sheets
The hobbycr@ft ivory was much cheaper than I could find on the bay so if you can get the r@ng3 stuff it's a bargain!
I'd just think that its harder to print onto pearlescent. All my printing is on the ivory so that's plan with the red pearlescent so we still get the shimmer

I'd be panicking if I hadn't made my invites with 9 months to go lol! (remind me of that 9 months before our wedding!!!)
I have all the wording for the invites mostly done, just need to work on the inserts - decide the other accommodation options, OH to do the directions between the 2 venues and sort out gifts. I loved wording the invite. Just having a too and fro with my parents though about RSVPs... they think they should go direct to them as the invite is from them but I think that it should come back to us so I can keep track.

How Are you wording your invites! As seem some from bride n groom some from brides parents ect? We are paying for most of our wedding but my parents are contributing so think my mum wants it written as brides parents rather than me n oh :/. I'm in middle of pricing mine all up now for 34 day and 55 night I think it's going to cost us 38.29 in card and not sure on lace Nd ribbon yet as still waiting to hear back from the sellers. But I just want to order and do them already haha. As I know once I get into it it will be easier than I think. I just need to start. But have to sort all the wording out first and figure out what our rsvp will say as need to have menu choices on it too and some family are 2 ppl others are 6 and that so need to write it down to get it right. When are you starting your Emily and Kayleigh how you getting on with yours? X
CommentAuthorEmily17
We are paying for all the wedding ourselves but invites are off my parents. I'm not fussed about the guests knowing who's paying for it just want the traditional invite.
Can you put something like:
Bride and Groom together with their parents Brides parents and Grooms parents
would that be accepted more?

Yes Kayleigh, we sent save the dates out about 3 weeks after the 12 month mark. But its mainly close family coming so it was really just for OH's family's benefit (his aunties and uncles and cousins) so they don't book a holiday.
I don't think we are having our parents names anywhere on the invite xx

I think I have done a rough plan of them. Could u ladies look at my photos in stationary and see what you think? Not sure if it's worded right?? The rsvp, reception, extra and ek inserts need adjusting but not sure how to make them better. ( and is it rude to ask people to contribute towards the coach (it's optional) but the church has hardly any Parking and with 70 people thought its best option) I'm happy to contribute but can't afford 400/500 for it all x
