My dress is currently strapless but I think I will feel more secure with straps as I'm quite small chested so there's not a lot to hold it up (I know the alterations will fit the dress to me but I think I'd just feel better knowing I won't be hitching it up all day). Does anyone have any suggestions of where to get straps for wedding dresses from? I looked on the bay but didn't come up with much and have a lacey/beaded dress so want something that will go with it. Most on there were chiffony which just wouldn't go with my dress. Thank for your help x

have you bought your dress from a wedding boutique because normally they have straps they could order in for you? i bought my strapless dress from an outlet store and also bought straps (which were a different designer) it was nice to try the straps on with the dress to make sure the beading etc went.

Its a preloved dress and she has sent me the link of some of the straps she can order in but I don't really like any of them. When I first tried on my dress she had what I can only describe as a butterfly piece that gave me straps but also joined at the nape of my neck so it looked like a keyhole design (if that makes sense) but unfortunately that has been sold and she hasn't been able to source another one yet.
