I'd really love to have a real wishing tree and have been researching so was wondering if anyone knows where I can get manzanita branch from In the uk that isn't a fortune? Thanks x

I g00gled Manzanita because I wasn't sure what it was and a bunch of images came up that look like the branches they sell in H0bbycraft but when you say real, do you mean living? x

i got mine on the E of bay and it was £23 p+p is free then the crystal droplets were £3 for 5 and they have little loops so you can put them on the branches to make it look sparkly! the lady who rents them here quoted £55 for the day....but this way i get to keep the tree after :-) hobbycraft do have some but they start from £30 and the branches go straight up instead of spreading out which i thought was nicer. hope this helps xx

Irishbribe2be is it a real or artificial thT you bought? I'd love a real branch ( from A tree) rather than an artificial one if I can as just love real wood x

Oh ok, this makes more sense now I understand you are looking for a living branch. We are doing the trees for our centrepieces and were just going to go into a wood and pick branches (off the floor, not chop any down!) and put them in a pot with oasis and grvael to weigh them down so they don't topple. If you wanted the tree to be living after the wedding, would a bonsai tree work or could you get a small tree from a garden cente and then plant it after? X
No they are artificial mrsC2bee, iv not seen any real ones tbh but what Kirsty had suggested above is quite good a little tree from a garden centre and just trim the leaves right down maybe Xx
