I'm getting married in June and I don't think my dress will be ready by at least end of April start of May time. I'm planning on losing weight but how much can I realistically loose without having a lot of alterations done as I'm worried they won't have time to do it, my dress is a corset back with a princess bottom. How much give does a corset have? Thanks in advance xx

I'm not too sure but I got measured for my dress on Friday and I asked the lady how many dress sizes can it be taken in and she told me two. Realistically I'm not going to lose anymore than that if I even get to that. My dress is the same style as yours

I think you can usually take a dress in 3 dress sizes max, but it might be to check as every dress is different x

I think 2 dress sizes is the norm, however as you say you don't have long for alterations it may be worth asking the store how long their alterations take, one shop told me 3 weeks another 8 so it depends on the store I think x
