Just asking for some advice, I have seen a stunning wedding dress on The bay which is advertised as cursed. I know the dress isnt obviously cursed but are you or should I be put off by the fact it is from a failed marrige? The women's desciption is pretty funny if you have a read, I think it has about one week left of bidding.

To be honest, I wouldn't either. The dress has not broken their marriage up.

The dress had nothing to do with ''producing a deceitful husband'' it's nice that she's been honest about why she is selling the dress to be honest, as I bet a lot of second hand dresses are being sold for the same reason, but the sellers wouldn't dare say that it was because the marriage had failed.
My sister has a second hand engagement ring, that would suggest that the original owners engagement didn't pan out as planned, but my sister is happily married with 4 children.

I was expecting a cheating husband to be honest, not that cheating would have made it funny, but the fact that she has been left with no money supporting her daughter is very sad :(

I just don't think there is any need to put that. For all we know it could be total bs, putting it to ensure people bid on it to buy it so she gets more money. I'm told never assume anything,

It might not be true, but if that is why she's putting it I'd be surprised as if anything stating that a dress is cursed is more likely to put people off bidding.

Yeah I feel it would put alot of people off too, I think if the price is right I have found my dress, fingers crossed.

I wouldn't let it bother you. Personally I wanted a new dress that no one else had got married in before so wouldn't buy secondhand anyway but if the price is right for you then go for it.

I would go for it, if its what you are looking for and within budget. x

I would go for it if the dress is right. I think I'd rather go second hand or ex sample than a china dress if budget is an issue- let's be honest a lot of us have a budget to stick to :-) good luck if you bid x

I don't think it would bother me. It's the people who make a marriage, not a dress x
