Good afternoon,

Ive been to see my venue & wedding planner today and wow, im so excited again!!!

She has given my loads of ideas and things to go on from DIY invitations, 'Selfie corners' instead of a photbooth and she has given me a contact for the DJ @ a great price :-)

We have gone through my budget and has pointed me in the right direction of lots of things. She is even coming dress shopping next month with.... I thought it may be too early for that but she says its never too early :-)

I have noone else to share this with that may be as enthusiastic as you guys as my H2B works away and my mum isnt that interested so thank you xx

I don't think it's too early to go and try to find the perfect dress... You can find it in the first shop you try, but you also can take a long time to find it. So, never too early.
I can't wait for this step, for starting making things real.

Well I figure I'm gonna have a few dress shopping trips, MOH, FMIL and so why not, 1 more won't hurt

It's nice to have a focus and actually see things coming together coz a couple of weeks ago I felt like I was drowning

I know....... She's not too in your face either which I like. It was a bit weird when she suggested it but ya know what? Why not?

All I get from family is, 'you've got ages yet' and it's so disheartening but today really lifted my spirits xx

I initially didn't think I'd want a wedding planner but she comes with the venue and she has been brilliant.

We booked our venue in January this year when we still had 22months to go, we got lots of 'oh you've got ages yet' and I agree it's disheartening isn't it? At least you can come on here, us lot are excited to hear about wedding plans! Lol xx
