I'm looking to buy a pretty but reasonably priced (under £100) veil. Preferably a floor length or chapel length veil and wondered if anyone knew of reliable online or high street shops where I could get this?

My dress has a small train made from Tuille (it's a Mark Lesley 7000). My wedding is in 11 weeks, so need something reliable (I've only been engaged 5 weeks so it isn't like I've just left it!)

You could probably find something on the bay of e, I have seen a few on there that look like they should be very expensive! D3b3nhams also have veils so you might be able to get something there? You can try on there too so that might be better! :) x

Congrats on the whirlwind wedding! I'd love to have a wedding planned coming up so soon!

I got one from the bay but ended up returning it as I didnt like it. I then made a custom floor length veil and had it delivered in about a month for about £60/70. I got mine from The w3dding v3il sh0p x

Wow April! Just had a look at that shop and I think that's definitely where I'll be getting mine! So easy to design the perfect veil! x

It's fun to design it yourself as well! I ordered a veil clip as its so long.

I made an appointment at the shop to try their veils to see what I liked and went with my dress, then went home and ordered mine online ha! X

Thanks for sharing that website April, just had a look and it's fab! The veil I designed for myself would be £81 which is pretty good :) I'm not sure about veils at the mo but if I decide I want one I will definitely go back to that website.

I just got some fabric samples from them, is your veil soft April? As the samples were quite a stiff net, so i was dubious

I'm the same leasa I found a really lush soft veil in a bridal shop, but allot of them are rather stiff which I don't like which makes me unsure on whether to order online or buy from shop even if it does cost more.

I know exactly what you mean Lana, I fell in love with one in the bridal shop, really soft and lush. But £125.
All the cheaper ones I've seen look good in the pictures but are stiff and net like.
I might have to spend that little extra rather than chance it...unless anyone can confirm the above named site aren't stiff/net

I bought mine off the bay of E. I bought 2, one long 2 layer, and one elbow length single layer. Ended up wearing the elbow length one

I haven't actually tried it with my dress as I took it straight to my dads. I'll have to go round and bring it home to try on! Sorry I can't say just yet, I don't remember as I got it a while ago. I'll Definetly update though x
