Hello fellow 2016 bride I'm getting married July 3rd 2016. We booked our venue last week, my first tip would be if you have a particular venue/photographer/band you REALLY want then book up quickly. Really had my heart set on a specific band (after we booked venue) and they had another wedding the same day!! Can't believe how fast things get booked in advance!!

Oh another tip - get P-INTEREST I'm hooked and have about 200 'pins' already SO many good ideas and inspiration on there

I'm a June 2016 bride to be as well :) so far we have booked the venue, registrar, DJ, harpist, photographer and arranged the transport - these are the things we considered the 'bigger' things and things that are likely to book up quickly, so we were keen to get them sorted as soon as possible. We haven't actually organised anything else for a couple of months now but are going to the National Wedding Show next month and will be resuming wedding planning/organising properly in the New Year :)

Our photographer was already booked the weekend before and the weekend after our wedding so we're lucky we got to him just in time. Our venue and DJ was also taking bookings for 2017 already!

I'm also a June 2016 bride. We have booked the church, venue, harpist, photographer, sweet buffet, car and cake. We are also going the the National Wedding Show next month. I would def start looking at booking a venue as we booked ours in May this year and they were already taking bookings up to 2017!

I am a June 2016 bride too! All I have done so far is book the church and decided on a colour scheme. Seeing how organised you all are, I think we had better pull our fingers out!!!

I'm getting married 21st May 2016 and so far we have got - the venue, sweet table, flowers (having silk ones), the cake, the band, the photobooth for the evening, invitations/Save the date cards have been picked and just have to be ordered, colour scheme and theme, bestman/bridesmaids and 'THE' dress (by complete accident!!! lol)

Photographer is proving difficult as met quite a few we like but lack of communication and just the vibe in general has ment we still dont have one yet - got another meeting this weekend with another one so fingers crossed!!

I also agree with Katie M - P-INTERST IS my best friend!!! Anything i like or anything i'm looking for get pinned to my 'wedding' board and i'm off!! haha... annoyingly we cant book the registrar until 12 months before the day :(( I'm so jealous of you lovely ladies who can book that already!!! xx

I am July 23rd 2016 bride to be. So far I have church and wedding reception venue booked, Cars are booked and photographer. I would say they are main things to consider first as they book up quickly in advance. Once January/Feb arrives I will start looking at dresses. Colour Scheme and bridal party all chosen. Once into 2015 its all go from there. Good Luck xx

I'm a September 2016 bride to be! So far we have booked the Church and the Venue for the wedding breakfast and evening do. Going to look at wedding car/vintage bus in next few weeks! I have the perfect dress too!

Hey ladies I'm hoping to get married in June 2016 too. We're going to the church on Wednesday to set the date and we're speaking to the venue we've picked on Thursday. My partner and I have decided on an alice in wonderland theme. I'm hoping for an out door mad hatters tea party instead of a wedding breakfast. We have a small budget and trying to do most things ourselves (I love craft!!!).
