Just a quick one - whats everyone doing/done with the chair covers/sashes on the day? As in we've got 50 people for the ceremony and wedding breakfast so of course having covers and colour sashes etc - just wondering do I also have them on the evening do? As in theres 100 people in total for the evening do, do I have to pay to get 50 more sashes or is it best to leave it? I was under the impression its up to me and H2B and we were just going to leave the tables set out how they were for the evening do as there isnt any more room to have anymore tables etc. Then we'd have to have more centre pieces etc and I'm just wondering what everyones take on this is?
All advise is greatly appreciated xx

My venue said they take the covers off so that they don't get stained and stuff at the evening do x

You don't need seats for 100 at the evening do; most people will be standing around, or dancing. We had very few seats at ours (maybe 30 for 80 people?) and it wasn't an issue. So, I'd just leave everything as it is, or possibly even remove some of the WB seating depending on how much space you have.

Fab! thanks for your replies ladies i think we'll leave it as were going to originally then :) 50 sashes only hehe!!
Barbie - how was the day for you? I'm starting to get so jealous of all your lovely ladies already married or getting married in like weeks time!! Want mine to come around sooner - although having said that it feels like only weeks ago we booked it and 5 months has already passed!! lol xx

It was amazing! :-D A LOT of time went into the planning, but it was so worth it; it was honestly even better than we hoped it would be, everything from the flowers to the cake to the food to the music was just perfect :-)
Enjoy the planning while you still can; I'm really glad we had a long engagement now it's over as it meant I had lots of time to plan, and also could really kind of 'indulge' in the process, so now that it's over, I don't have the post-wedding blues which I know a lot of brides get; relieved is the wrong word, but it's so lovely to have the memories and not have to, you know, actually DO stuff lol. But on the other hand, I think if we'd had a short engagement I'd feel very differently; I think I'd be a bit gutted it was all over so quickly, so, make the most of it ;-)
awww thats lush Barbie!! and i'm so glad it all went so well congrats!! :D
I plan on making the most of everything and byding my time to make sure when it comes around to the day - everything will be so planned it will all just flow and i can sit back and bloody well enjoy it!! lol xx

Our venue are providing our covers and sashes and they only quoted us for the day guests, so take it we won't be having them/needing them for the evening reception x
