i got my save the date cards through today and i dont 100% love them anymore(i did yesterday! lol) since my dad found a gorgeous picture today when we were designing a guest book sign.. but ive paid for them so they r getting used
my question now is do i order the same design for invitations or do i order the design ive really fell in love with?! would it matter that they dont match?...
what would you do??
thx in advance x

My Save a Dates and invites are going to follow the same theme but will look completely different. My save a dates were vintage parcel tags whereas my invites I am planning are going to be brightly coloured.

ahh right thanks these do follow same theme and roughly same colour scheme!
save the dates r yellow cream roses with wedding rings and the invitations are a more proper cream roses wih rings obviously layouts are different but same sort of idea really.. i suppose save the dates arent as big as the invitations.. and as i say we have made the guest book sign in the new design and planning on doing a sign for church to lrt ppl sit where they want and not on sides. itll all tie in nicely. may order the thankyou cards in first design and that way we are still keeping in with both and not overing doing one or the other

For my Save a Dates I didn't want to spend much at all so got a rubber stamp custom made with our names and the date and another with the white rabbit image, some parcel tags, black ink and distress inks. The Invites I will be making myself and will go into a large black pocketfold envelope

My save the dates are completely different they are white roses but my invites and stationary will have thistle themes going on so I don't think it matters if they don't match.

save the dates were nice and cheap 2nd design tho alot more expensive not worth re buying just cos design is that tiny bit nicer lol... invitation wise both designs cost the same so its a win win either way :-) i definatly think ill order the thankyou cards in the 1st one anyway :-) (plus theyve gave me a 5% discount if i order again so thats not too bad lol)

Victoria LOVE those invites!!
I don't think it matters if they match or not. My save the dates were a magnet with a picture of us on holiday, and our invites are totally different and did them ourselves. X

Thanks April, the colourful ones are just an example I've seen which I really liked so hopefully I can replicate it well enough :-S Think I might do the gold lettering at the back in black though instead.
