I've been really struggling with my weight and worrying my dress won't fit as it's too big, taken me about a year to put a stone on which Im struggling to keep on but I've managed to get up from 7 to 8 stone and now all it needs is a bit of altering at the bottom at the back, which means the embroidery doesn't have to be picked off bit by bit which would have been a nightmare, SO pleased. People seem to think it's so easy to put weight on, but I've been having such a nightmare with it and of course, stressing about it doesn't help! And then you get people saying OH your so lucky, youre so thin! Except I was all bones and looking gaunt and it's not like I was starving myself or anything, I just wanted to be a healthy weight and all those condescending 'just eat' comments made me want to bang my head against a brick wall.
Anyway, mini rant over MY DRESS!

My brother is the same with his weight. He couldn't get into the RAF because he was underweight and no matter how much he ate or weight gain stuff he drank he would lose it faster than he could gain it.

Gorgeous! You have the same problem as me... I was just under 7 stone, took me 2 years to get up to 8, I've dropped a bit but holding it at around 7stone 10lb.
A lot of people don't understand as they are trying to loose it instead of put on. But just as hard if you struggle.

I know how you feel too. I used to have the same problem and get all the 'do you eat' comments as I couldn't put on wait. Took me about 5yrs to put on a stone from 8 - 9. I'm quite tall so 9 is right for my height.

thank you ladies, i love it :) i was having buyers remorse for quite a while, but im really happy now!
glad people understand about the weight gain, it's a nightmare, I can not lose a single pound now and Ive been yoyo'ing between 7 and a half and 8 for a few months now, but I'm heading in the right direction for the most part I think lol, just as long as i can either maintain or gain until the wedding, then Im all good!

You look amazing in that, it's a beautiful dress. My mum is like you, she used to be turned away from the blood donors because she didn't weigh enough. I must admit I used to wish that we could swap places, as she battled to keep her weight up and I battled to keep mine down.

oh wow you look amazing and well done on putting a stone on I sort of understand because when i was younger i never put weight on no matter what i ate but now all of a sudden im 10 stone after sticking at 8 up till i hit 19-20 it jsut kinda creeped up and hit me lol

I understand about the weight struggle too as I'm very thin but I'm also really tall so it makes me look thinner! When I was at school people used to ask if I was anorexic :/ I eat so much rubbish sometimes too so it's not for lack of trying! I still feel a little too thin for my dress at the minute, so hopefully I'll be able to fill out a little too.
