    So, kinda curious:

    Did you have alterations done?
Where they shop alterations from the place you bought the dress? Or did you ask someone else?
    Where you happy with them?

I am still in the process of the shopping for the dress but due to me being fussy there will be alterations needed but I want to make sure the shop will be getting them sorted rather than look else where .
From the shops I have looked most are places friends have had dresses from and all have ended up having alterations and from those dresses all were fab :)

mines on order but I know ill need alterations.. the bust size of my dress is 33inches I think.. my bust is only 31.5inches lol! but if had the smaller size then I wouldn't have got my waist in it! its already 0.5inch smaller than my waist hadh

The shop I bought my dress from are doing my alterations for me-they're all included in the price. I had my first dress fitting this morning! The seamstress seemed very good but will know more later this month when I go back for the 2nd one! X

I've had 4 sets of alterations so far too take dress from a 22 to get depth for my bust, to a 14 for my waist n hips. For 2 more fittings booked before wedding which is in 3 weeks. Some at shop and cost £65 plus £35 for some added bits. If I would have needed the length changing it would have been more. X

Yeah....it's shocking how you pay over £1k for the dress and they won't do alterations for free! X

I got alterations done by a seamstress recommended by the boutique I got my gown from. She basically did all alterations for that bridal store. Incidentally she also did the alterations for my bridesmaids dress when I was my sister's bridesmaid. I was very happy with them. She also did my bridesmaids dresses and even made straps etc for us.

I will def need alterations on my dress, it will need taking up and the straps on it will need sorting as well..... I also think it will probably need taking in as doubt I'll be at my target weight by the time I'm measure to have it ordered. The lady I am buying it from will be doing my alterations, but she is doing them for free for me and even if she wasn't her prices are amazing compared to some other shops who were charging £200 for their easiest alterations.
