So was supposed to have a pretty hectic day today but all plans have fallen through so I figure I could get a jump on my wedding dress search. I literally have no idea what style of dress I am wanting so I reckon it is going to take me awhile to pick but I'm not getting married until September 2016... does that matter. I'm sitting here getting butterflies at the idea of wedding dresses :) lol

Not too early!

Best way is to try on as many styles as you can.
I spent hours looking at pictures trying to decide what style I liked, but most brides will tell you they ended up with something completely different to what they thought they wanted.

I've confessed this a lot.

My OH and I have been together over 8 and half years and a few years ago we started to talk about getting married but he kept bottling the proposals. One day with a friend I just went into a bridal shop to have peek and found THE dress. I even tried it on and loved it. I then paid the deposit. That was a year and a half BEFORE he proposed and that was June 2013. So yeah I have had my dress 2 years now and I don't get married until Aug next year.

So now... you're not too early at all ;)

Go for it, I put a deposit on mine last year in May for next sept, so over 2yrs to go, doesn't hurt to look as you may find a design which won't be part of the next season for a designer.

Nope I found mine about 2 years before pot deposit down for it to be ordered 6 months later, 1 year to go and my dress has arrived. Love it. Try to doo in with a open mind. The dresses I had in mind looked terrible on, and the dress I have ended up with was nothing I imagined to have.

together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
