Ok so my H2B has big knuckles (or so it seems) so he had to order a ring that fits his finger rather than his knuckle (if that makes any sense). I have practiced trying to force it on a few times and I just cant do it. I dont want to hurt him and when I do really try and get it on I feel my face is screwed up.
Any tips?
I thought - get him to hold a cold bottle of water before the service starts to make sure his hand is cold. Push it on part way and hope no one notices and then he can fix it himself when we sign the register.
Think I am worrying for nothing but it is playing on my mind and I think he thinks I am daft!

V@s3l1n3 on the inside of the ring, the grease will help it slip on.

Or maybe a little bit of soap on the inside? Will that do the same kind of thing?

Make h2b have hand cream in his pocket or make sure he slips some on before the wedding or during and it should slip on easily hopefully I'm sure no one will be fussed as many couple many women will find it hard to slip the ring on hubby's finger as they have weird funky fingers big knuckles etc...

Oh gosh I never even gave this a thought h2b has weird hands lol big knuckles smaller fingers (Prob like most guys) need to keep this in mind I would thin vas3lin3 on the ring should be ok

Life hasnt been easy but we have each other :)
I had to really squeeze the ring on hubby's finger, was scared I was going to hurt his finger. I think the nerves raised his body temperature and fingers got a little swollen.

I wouldn't worry personally. If I can't put it all the way on then he would just do it himself and if anything it would make for a comical picture. :D

In all seriousness, I've never even thought about this.. Can you have a little practice at home using the various techniques so you won't need to worry about it leading up to the day? xx

TBH my worry about the first dance has taken over now. I will keep practising at home but I think I need to be less of a wimp - he says im not hurting him so I will just push harder I suppose. And if it goes wrong it might lighten things and will be humorous.
