Hey ladies (and gents!?) Opinions please - I can't decide whether I want to go with the diagonal strap on my dress or remove it altogether?? There is also the option to wear it as a halter neck. My first thought was keep it as a diagonal strap, but the more I look at it, Im now wondering if it will look classier without the strap at all.....????

Your dress is beautiful and I think the strap looks lovely diagonal. I don't think it takes any class away from it at all :) xxx

The dress looks gorgeous on you.
I'd keep the strap, it makes the dress unique and a-symmetrical (diagonal) features always give a slimming look to dresses x

    Stunning!

Thank you so much ladies - it was the only dress that I truly felt good in - didn't want to take it off in the shop!!! I haven't actually tried it without the strap, just wasn't sure if the strap looked less classy! I think it's fair to say that the majority think the strap looks nice lol xxx

Good point Lana although when the woman in the shop fastened it at the back she pulled it that tight it won't budge anywhere!!!! I was quite suprised though because it didn't feel uncomfortable :-)

im not keen on the strap myself, i think it looks abit out of place going across your back like that, it doesn't really seem like it serves a purpose, it takes nothing away from the beauty of the dress and id certainly not say it makes it look bad in any way, it's just not my cup of tea personally. Like. you get an off the shoulder dress and it goes up on one side... it kinda looks like, from the front, its missing a strap on one side, because other than the strap, its symmetrical, then you have that one strap on one side and it seems out of place because its not serving a purpose (i get that its not meant to and it for decoration)

It is likely me just being a stickler over the symmetry though lol, as im the only one here that would prefer it without xD

That was my worry Velcro, there is just something (that I can't quite put my finger on) that makes me unsure about it. I keep changing my mind from one day to the next but I think my gut tells me to go without the strap. When all's said and done, I can make my mind up on the day when hair n make-up is done can't i!? Thanks for your opinions ladies, very much appreciated xx

If it's easy enough removed on the day, then just see how you feel when you are all dressed up and ready to go :D

I like the strap, but I'm not a fan of strapless. I think it would look lovely as a halter neck aswell.
