I hope this is in the right section! My best friend is a man (married with 2 kids) and I 'm going to ask him to be my 'man of honour' but he wont be able to/want to get involved as much with all the getting ready stuff as a female maid of honour would, so i'm looking for alternative ways to include him.
I'm also having two teenage bridesmaids (my nieces) as my sisters don't want to do it due to feeling self conscious etc but two of my sisters will probably do the bridesmaid roles of helping me out, one will do my flowers (she is a florist) and make up and the other my hair etc. So i'd like a way to include them and make them feel special without having to call them bridesmaids.
Has any one else not had an adult bridesmaid? I'm a little concerned that i'll end up trying to ease my nieces nerves rather than the other way around. Lol!

Your sisters can probably help you with getting ready and look after their own daughters without actually being bridesmaids. They can cover the girly things like getting into the dress and getting hair and make-up done. Maybe your man of honour can do things like assist you into the car and act as the point of contact for any liaising with the best man.

It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
