I have a problem with chaffing whenever I wear skirts or dresses (which is a rarity). But, when I do wear dresses or skirts I tend to wear shorts underneath to prevent the chaffing. The wedding is at the end of June so it may be hot (who knows it is the UK after all) so I don't really want to have to wear shorts as i'm gonna be hot anyway (also, not very sexy). So my question is, has anyone experienced this problem on their wedding day, and what did you do about it?

I know you said that you didn't want shorts but that is what I have got for me. They are quite thin and have a bit of lace on them. I do however plan to ditch them so that H2b does not see them haha!!

I have the same issue and I use lanacane gel. Once you've put it on, it goes all silky smooth. It lasts me all day at work which is a miracle. I couldn't live without it now! It's quite difficult to get hold of, but bigger b00ts stores stock it. It's usually in the 'feet' section.

Im planning on getting the shapewear but the one that is for shaping thighs, so longer on the thight but shorter on the waist.

I use lana cane and it's amazing!!! I get it from bay of e as it's cheaper and free postage. It is great stuff and works a treat :-)

I also use lanacane, being plus size i used to suffer very badly to the point i couldnt walk, making holidays very uncomfortable as even shorts used to ride up, but now i use lanacane (the one in the blue and yellow tube rather than the red and yellow) I have no problems, i keep it in my bag, think its between 6-7 quid xx

I used to be an air stewardess many moons ago, and then worked on that yellow & grey channel tunnel train. I used to suffer from it (I don't wear skirts now, but assume I still would). I used to wear cycling shorts (not lycra) under my skirts. People thought I was bonkers, but it made my working life much easier.

spray anti perspirant between your legs. will help to stop or reduce the sweating and just re spray later on if you need to 9also great in shoes if you dont wear tights/stockings) xx

You could try very thin opaque tights? or there is a talc powder that is medicated and helps prevent rubbing and soothes the skin.. i swear by the stuff
