I was wondering if anyone has any advice or could help as I am in a bit of a dilemma. I had a dress ordered over two years ago having paid a 50% deposit on it and went for the final fitting and pick up and it does not fit properly and lots of the detailing and material has been changed and altered from what I had ordered. We asked for a deposit back and left the shop having been guaranteed we will be given this by bank transfer. I am now waiting for this. I now have 6 weeks left till the wedding and need to find a dress in this time. I am based in Bristol can anyone help as to where I can get a nice and unusual dress from at such short notice?

Some bridal shops will sell straight off of the peg. I had my dress off of the peg from a shop close to me I was lucky that the fit was perfect.. try and look around at some local bridal shops or phone around. Alterations will need to be made to make sure that your dress fits perfectly so the sooner you look the better. I hope you find a lovely dress for your day :) Good Luck x

Couldn't recommend the Berketex outlet highly enough, looking at the website they have a outlet in Portsmouth if that's any good to you, would consider traveling to one of these outlets too. The service and choice is second to one, so you will deffinate come out with a dress there and then.

See if there are any sample sales in your area or if any bridal stores will sell you a dress off the peg (their sample).

B'tex are okay, my sister got her dress from them but check it isn't see through! When she reached the top of the aisle at the beginning of her ceremony I noticed her undies could be seen through the dress! She was wearing neutral undies too.
