I've really no idea, i've had a lot going on and i just haven't got a spark or butterflies when i put it on. It just doesn't feel like my dress. I bought it second hand and have had it altered but it's just not feeling special even though it was the dress that i wanted but for a lot less money :( xxx

Aw hun. Have you just tried it on once since buying it?
I'd try it on again and see how you feel. I bet it's stunning!

When I tried mine on again I'd had a really bad week, argued with the H2B and just moved so I felt really negative and worse after trying the dress on again.

I'mhoping next time after a few alterations the magic feeling will come back xxx

Not sure if it's worth a try but next time you put your dress on, I know it might sound silly, but do your hair/make-up beforehand. I spoke recently with some friends about this, and we have all felt less great and not very bridal when we have just put on our dresses without looking a bit bridelike. Did you have your wedding shoes on? If they are heels, your posture will change too, making you stand taller and straightening out shoulders.

I think you should wear decent underwear when u go next time as well, sometimes that can make ur posture better so make u feel better overall ... And also shoes x

Im in the same boat to be honest - had a few opinions now and several people agree that it's not the most flattering dress. Could cry! Seamstress says she can alter it to look better but now I just don't want it. Haven't got a massive budget to get anything else either so it's back to trawling the internet. Let us know how you get on next time you try it on hun xx

Oh Hun I know completely how you are feeling. I brought my dress from Berketex sale room at Christmas fell completely in love with it, then as it's still available in debenhams I couldn't resist a sleek peek at it. My heart fell, it just wasn't the princess gown I fell in love with at Christmas in my eyes, I couldn't stop crying. So mum made me go back with calmness and have a good look why it wasn't my princess dress, it was because it was in a much bigger size than mine (I know that sounds really nasty but I've recently lost four stone and have image issues) and it was tired because it had been on the shelf.
What I'm trying to say is have a good look at it and work out why its wrong and try and find ways of sorting it out. It might need something as simple as a bit of extra pretty adding to it or straps altering
