I thought I really wanted them and I've found someone who for £80 will do both personalised as well, they look really cute.
But I've seen a cake I love with flowers on the top, I could have the same cake with the flowers round the side (as it already does) but without the one's at the top and have the bride and groom instead) but I quite like the simplicity of it how it is, I think it looks really pretty and simple

I originally made my own from daleks. But my cake maker is doing the whole thing now. Not decided on a topper. I went to 5 weddings last year and I don't remember anyone of them having a topper. One was butterflies and one was flowers, I remember that much. Seems like less people seem to be bothering with it...?

Yeah I'm torn now, I always thought I wanted them.... but I like the cake how it is, I don't want to make it look a mess :/

I suppose if we did have them we could play about a bit trying them on top of the cake with a rose at their feet.... or with the flowers at the top and having the toppers standing next to the cake so their still there?
I've had loads of idea's this weekend, but so many of them are coming to hard decisions which I can't seem to make :/

With toppers you don't actually have to have them on the cake. You can have it next to it, so it's in the photo of you cutting the cake, or you could have it next to your guest book?

I've just ordered a personalised topper in the shape of a swan as that will be my new married name! It also says Mr & Mrs Swan inside the body of it. Found it on the bay for less than a tenner x
I think people are having toppers Its just at fayres the cake people just being ones to show off what they can do. Normally dummy cales that are rolled out for every fayre

Donna I have posted on your wall, I have asked for extras hence for the price going up to £48. The seller has been really accomodating and is really quick and communicating.
