I've roughly made 2 sample invites
But I don't know which looks better and if they need a darker pink ribbon?
Photo in my album thank you xx

I prefer the white one on the left but I guess it depends what look/theme you're going for. With the ribbon - again, what colour scheme are you going for? I would get the ribbon to match whatever that is x

They look lovely, we're thinking of making our own, but scared they won't look nice.

I'm just having a practice at the moment and keeping it simple as they're only evening invites as not having a wedding breakfast n only immediate family attending ceremony but it was pretty easy to do, printing the details onto pink paper n going to stick it in so when I've got my final sample all sorted I'll update with pics :) xx

Can't wait to see the finished result. They look a lot nicer then some invites you can buy hun, I'm sure they'll look great when finished. Do you mind if I ask how much it will have cost to make them?

I've spent ages making some save the date post cards to have printed off and fiancé doesn't like them :( I don't know what he's expecting for save the dates, I've made some cute informal one's with a couple of pics of us together and then a calendar with our date circled (well with a heart around it).

I quite like how they're informal because we can go formal with the invites, showed the save the dates to one of my bridesmaids and my mum and they both really like them. Aghhh men!

Good job we have ages until we need to think about sending them yet

They're fab! I like the one on the left best; if I went with the one on the right I'd maybe have a slightly darker ribbon, but, only VERY slightly darker though.

Really jealous if you made those yourself lol

Ok I've finished making the outside of my invitations!!!! I bought different ribbon and it took 6 hours (split over 4 nights) to make 40 invitations I love them! I've still got to make the RSVP cards yet but have made a sample and I love that too lol very proud of myself haha all together it cost £40 for all the stuff ribbons card envelopes rsvp cards and envelopes and pink paper for the inside but there's enough stuff to make 50 invitations :D whoo hoo lol take a look I'm just uploading the pics now xxx

Yeah, I think it will be a nice thing to do together as well.... and so what if they're not perfect (I'm not saying yours aren't but I don't have much faith in mine and h2b's craftiness lol) they'll be made with love and mean something :)
