Garden centres my dear! If you know of a logging company near to you, nip by and give them a nice smile! If all else fails, my pal might have some sitting out to weather at the back of his house which he felled last winter. It would cost beyond a fortune to send them to you though, so your best things would definitely be to start with a garden centre. They sell weathered and treated slices for everything from paving to decorative items to have in your garden. xx

Just posted a link to your wall for a site, its not one I would have thought of, but if you dont have luck with the garden centres, give the link a shot. I buy from sellers on there a lot xx

Any friends who are tree surgeons? !
And we lived happily ever after!

I agree with ValentinaK. My best friend is a tree surgeon and they often get requests from brides for them. They normally give them away for free as they would normally go throurg the chipper and be dumped or be used for firewood. They will also normally recommend a wood that is good, some brides like Oak and have them varnished others will collect Silverbirch just a couple of days before their big day as they look beautiful and dont need anything doing to them.
Just an idea.....
