Hi everyone, I have been scouring these forums ever since I got engaged, been so much help but I've never posted before!

I'm really struggling to find decorative sand! We want natural beach coloured to go into fish bowls, but I haven't the first clue where to look, I've searched online etc, but I would rather be able to go to a shop/DIY store to pick it up as I expect postage would be really expensive!!

It needs to be really soft sand, I was thinking of getting play sand for kids lol but it's quite rough!

Any help would be appreciated :)

A garden centre? Not sure if they'd do the fine sand you're looking for. Or a shop selling aquarium type products, like fine sand that goes in fish tanks? Don't know where else might do it. Craft shops don't really tend to do sand xxx

The site I posted also sell cheap fish bowls. Think I paid £2/3 a fishbowl or something like that?

They do seem to top their stock up regularly as I had to wait for some of the purple sand but was surprised how little time I had to wait.

We got a fair amount of that site, the prices were very reasonable!
