Hi ladies, need a bit of help! I need fairy lights and electric tea lights which isnt the major issue, it's needing someone to dress the room with them. Are there people who just specifically do lighting? I know like, florists do venue dressing... but lights obviously aren't flowers. I'm not really sure where to start. I can't even think about how to go about searching it on g00gle

Some florists do lighting hun - mine does fairy lights and light trees. Other than that maybe just search for a venue dresser?? xxxx

Some florists do it. I've also seen wedding planners/event coordinators that do it. it all depends on what is available in your area. I'd hit up G00gle

Search for event lighting or event dressibg, should give you sone results. Pricey though!

I agree with the others hun, try googling like event dressing or event dresser or something. It depends where it is, sometimes they have someone at the venue who could do it for you xxx
Try looking for wedding drapery and lighting people. People that do the whole decorating the venue thing, they'll either be able to do it or give you some hints etc

We have just booked lighting for our wedding, they are a company who specialise in lighting and stuff and the results are amazing. I'm so so excited about it. They are also going to put up some bunting that I'm going to make :) It doesn't come cheap though, but I can put the link on your wall if you want? x

event co-ordinators, venue dressers, friends and even yourself! it depends... if like me you have exclusive use of the venue and its available the night before... you could go do it yourself... then its to your exact spec and imagination too!
And we lived happily ever after!

oh i got this sorted ages ago haha. we don't have exclusive use of the venue as i was hoping to be able to do trhe décor and chair covers myself, but it would have meant doing it on the morning of the wedding and there was no way that was happening haha
