    Small chicken breast
Slice it in the middle and put in some garlic puree , a low fat laughing cow triangle , (herbs if desired).
Close it up and coat it in egg white and cover it in polenta granules
    Bake in the oven.
It tastes really nice and the coating makes it look more fattening lol!

Have with jacket spud and beans or veg.

    Great pasta sauce.
Mix 3 cans of chopped tomatoes (the good ones are best as they're not so runny),
2 vegetable stock cubes, some powdered sweetner and some chilli flakes.
    Heat up and blend.
Stir fry some veg (aubergine, courgettes, onions, cherry tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms) in fry light oil and add to the blended sauce.
This can also be used as a ratatouille and is delicious. xxx

omelette (some people suggest using just the egg white but you could just use the whole egg) chuck in some red onion, peppers, sweet corn, whatever veg you can think of, lay it on a plate and stack some sliced chicken breast on top, carefully try and roll it and then slice into rolls..

    1) 1 large onion ( i use 2 cos i like onions but its up 2 u) fry for 5 minutes in oil
2)4 gloves garlic and ice cube sized fresh ginger .add& fry for further 5 minutes ( add more gailic if u like garlic i sumtimes use full bulb)
3)then add these spices all together and mix and stir for 1 minute - 1 large tbl spoon garam masala
    1tsp curry powder ( i use a madras one)
half a tsp of cumin powder
    half a tsp of turmeric
half a tsp of cayenne pepper
    half tsp chilli powder
    half tsp coriander powder

    4) add gud squeeze of tomato puree and a tin of chopped tomatos to the pan with 1 tsp of salt and cook for 2 minutes
5)add a cup of water ( about 200 ml - i just use a small glass each time lol)
6)blend all the sauce then add the chicken and cook for 20 minutes or until cooked ( the slower the better i think as it infuses the flavours better)
    7) chopped fresh coriander ( as much as u like) and add to curry with 1tbl of yogurt, cook for 5- 10 minutes! serve lol

guess it depends on what diet you are on. Not all of that is allowed on slimming world, and not all of it allowed on Weight Watchers. Which is why I would like our slimming world thread back!

1 thread for slimming world, 1 thread for weight watchers = 2 threads
1 thread for diets, 1 thread for recipes = 2 threads

so i dont really see what the problem is. I like our wee slimming world support group we had going on here

I like having sweet potato wedges instead of chips or normal potato wedges. They're better for you and taste nicer (in my opinion). You literally just slice up a sweet potato, spray a little oil over them and stick them in an oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Lovely job.

Not a recipe as such but we have been using quorn/ meat free mince in all the usual -spag bol, cottage pie, chilli and I think it's good as long as you flavour it well! Much lower in fat than beef mince etc!
