I was wondering if you can help me with the wording for the evening invites. I'm making the evening invites as per normal with the usual requset for the guest to attend. On their RSVP's I am doing on one side of it if they are attending or not then I thought on the other side of it I would put:
Unfortunately due to limited space we are unable to accommodate everyone for the wedding breakfast. However if you wish to attend the civil ceremony in the Wolston lounge at 2pm followed by the blessing in St Peter’s church at 3pm you would be more than welcome to join us.
(please cross out as appropriate)
We would love to attend the service during the day time
We will celebrate with you on the evening!
If you have any music requests we would love to hear them so we can try and include them during the evening’s entertainment. Please write the song and artist below
Do you think this is OK or if you think it should be improved please comment as to how to change it. Thanks! x x

That sounds fine to me- just don't do what I did and forget to put down the date! (don't worry, I did realise my mistake before I sent it off!)

The date is going to be on the other side where it asks if they are coming or not etc. This is just additional to ask if they are coming to the day time as well as we will need to inform the venue of seats for the service.
That's good. Saves ppl asking if they r coming to the whole day they know where they stand.

Well I thought it would be nice if the guests on the evening could come to the daytime but we just can't a) fit them in the room or b) don't want to fork out any more money. That doesn't mean that they can't be there to see the main part of the day which is the most important to us. The venue has another resturaunt that they can go and get some food in and we have the evening buffet for them as well as they will be eating before they arrive no doubt.

Hi Jo, it sounds great but I think I would say
'We would love to attend the service during the day time followed by celebrating with you on the evening'
or something to that effect to ensure they realise it is just the service and evening do in case they dont know what the wedding breakfast is! ha ha
