We are going to St Lucia 19th Nov for 10 nights, we had talked about it before the wedding but hubby booked it and gave me the confirmation during his speech, I am glad that he did as I wouldn't have went for the hotel her booked as it was far to expensive even though it was my number 1 hotel but now I cant wait to go

Me and my H2B is thinking of having a small honeymoon at the Village Hotel in Dudley for a weekend then when we can afford it, maybe have a honeymoon for a week or two at Paris or maybe Spain. But it all depends on when we can afford it

All of these honeymoons sound amazing. I don't think we can afford one so we are going to Surrey for 3 nights a few days after the wedding.

I won a free night DB&B so we extended our stay and I've never been to Surrey before so I'm looking forward to it. :)

We are aiming more towards Cyprus. I think we have decided to go to a nice hotel b&b as we both like going out to different restaurants and neither of us really drink during the day so not much point going all inclusive. We are looking at Potarus, trying to find a nice hotel close to the strip/main town

So after t0ms0ns head office called me just over a week ago to try to get me to upgrad to premium class seats on the plane at £280 EACH so I settled with extra leg room seats for £65 each our local office tried ringing me last night at 5.28 22 minutes before they close! Strange going to call them at 9 when they open see what they want!

Me and my H2B are talking about having a weekend honeymoon in a hotel called the Village Inn which is in Dudley after we getting married then when we can afford it then go somewhere in Europe for a week or two

I have family in San Fran. Been twice it's beautiful. Make sure you do the Alcatraz tour. They also do a night one

MrsMW how long are you going for? Does LO also get 15kg? If so it should be enough. Plus you will have your hand luggage

We got for 11 nights and yeah LO gets it too. I think it's 6kg in hand luggage and we've got them proper cabin suitcases too so we can put a lot in there. LO had got a trunki too x

Bethan I agree with Danielle about the Alcatraz tour and definitely recommend the night option - you get longer on the island and it will be dark as you come off, nice and spooky :)

Has anyone here been to Barbados and can recommend things to do? It will be our first time in the Caribbean.

As soon as my brothers and I receive our inheritance (my dad's house went on the market yesterday and has already had 3 viewings!) we are going on a family holiday to Disneyland Paris. Because of our 3 children being so young, to have a honeymoon without them means no more than 3 nights. I have always wanted to go to the Moulin Rouge and the Eiffel Tower.

Yeah I said that to OH last night, one of our close couple friends went to the maldives for their honeymoon in Aug and he said he was bored, she loved it. We are very similar so I worry OH would be bored xx

I think it's the kind of place where you wouldn't mind being bored... plus there is stuff to do so he wouldn't just have to lie on a beach all day! Could do water sports, scuba diving, excursions, glass bottom boats, island hopping etc. Also some islands are a lot bigger than others so you could look into staying on a bigger island where there is more going on as opposed to a very small intimate one.

My dad is the sort of person to get bored so when he and my mum went they had a weeks tour of Sri Lanka and then a week in the Maldives. It worked really well for them. Maybe something like that to split it up a bit?

We get married on a Sunday at the end of May so the day after the wedding we're heading to Center Parcs for a midweek break and then at the end of August (3 months after the wedding) we're taking our actual honeymoon for 2 weeks in Rhodes, Greece. Can't wait and I can't believe how fast time is going!

We booked ours last weekend - 17 days in Arizona and California and the bonus is I get to spend a whole day with my best friend who lives in San Francisco who can't make the wedding and who I've not seen for 2 years :-) Can't wait. We fly out on 23 June - 5 days after our wedding :-)
