i made my own outside bits of the cards and then brought the card inserts from an online company - 12p per insert. the whole lot of inserts came to approx £11 (inc postage of about £2) and came really quickly. i found the company by googling card inserts and they were the 1st site that came up.
cost of buying the outer bits of the cards and ink must have been about 15 quid in total so i think it works out quite cheap if you're willing/able to spend the time on making the cards!

sorting out the template and design they basically done its just the printing problem as H2B printer does not print on card was thinking of hand writing it but I do not write straight and my writing can be very small and we need the information to be crystal clear for everyone to understand =D

I got our invitations and RSVP cards with matching envelopes for good ole v!st@pr!nt. 80 invites, 80 rsvp cards and the matching envelopes all for less than £150 which was half what I budgeted for so I was very pleased.

Will use them I think to order the OOS.

For the STD's though I just designed something myself in MS Word with our photo and Chinese double happiness characters then e-mailed out to everyone. Those without computer/e-mail we just sent text messages or phoned them (very few, only the grandparents generation basically and some of H2B's aunts who are in their 70's).

    xx

i wouldnt know if it would be cheaper to provide the paper to a professional printing company or not?? as they have to make some money somehow and i reckon that is probably where they make their margin as ink seems to be expensive... i might be wrong though. i guess the only way to find out is to ring up and get some quotes?
at least now you have an idea of what you can pay online... i couldnt find it cheaper, even on the bay it worked out as each card insert (just the paper inside bit) was about 25p each (alot more than when i originally wanted to buy them last year!!)

    good luck
