that's a VERY good question!!! lol we're getting married at 2pm aswell!!! lol i think we might put a wee note in there asking guests to arrive early to take their seats. then we're having the MOH or one of the BM's to act as MC and at 1:45 to to ask all the guests to take their seats. xx

Unless the guests have to be seated by a certain time, I would put the actual time. I usually turn up at least half an hour before the scheduled time.... and theres loads of people there then.

im glad im not the only one who didnt think of this lol. personally i would assume that the wedding starts at 2pm so therefore its common sense to arrive a little earlier- but knowing my luck ppl will be walking in as im walking down the asile -lol

I am getting married at 2.30 and I spoke to my toast master and he advised me to put 2pm on the invites, to insure everyone arrived on time and was seated.

    I'm putting something like
"Ross and Kerry are to be joined in Holy Matrimony at 1.30pm. For a prompt start (because we can't wait to get hitched) we're asking our guests to make sure they arrive in plenty of time, if you're late you'll get locked out of the church"

But then, we've got friends that will think that's hilarious.

Or if you put "The ceremony will commence at <insert time>" Most people have the common sense to know they need to be there beforehand

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D
