What will it be hanging off, is that string for attaching it? With the string at what looks like the front, is there a risk of it turning around so it sits the wrong way?

nope it will be attached at the back to the chair with 2 ribbons not the string on the heart the string or jute loop to quote the woman who made the heart it is for decoration only !

I was going to ask the same thing, about how they will hang etc. I think they definitely reflect French vintage, which I know is your theme.

Ye that sounds really good. I like the idea that they are at the back.
its like a loop at the back so it just fits over the top of the chair and can be pulled tight to get the disired length once one and then tied in a bow so it cant be seen... its a special kind of knot ... i have no idea what its calle but know how to tie it lol (think from being a brownie 20 yrs ago or something lol)

i like the idea of just the flowers personally but it still looks good with the heart. im not sure the heart goes with the vintage look and would look more classic vintage without it perhaps?

can i ask why suzky you dont think the heart is vintage looking when the heart is made with vintage french printed material with a vintage safety pin from france thats about 100 yrs old??? just out of curiosity ...it smells vintage lol

i dont know... i suppose it just looked 'normal' in the pic like something I could just pick up from past times or something. Im sure in the flesh... so to speak... they look stunning, especially now that you reveal the quality which didnt show up in pic. Either way and its only personal opinion, i still think the flowers only would be better suited to your theme as they just look timeless. dont mean to offend and it still looks nice as they are.... just inputting an opinion.

its a store where they replicate some items from back in the day. there are some really nice things in there like items from when we were growing up like paddington bear and bagpuss and some art deco replicas etc.
