I'm making a start on flowers for my flower girls today. My bouquet is ivory roses with eucalyptus- wanted something really simple and elegant.

Natasha- Lillies are lovely, have you thought about cutting the stamens out of the lillies once photos and ceremony done etc. We did that with a friend bouquet and you didn't even notice.

I am having calla lillies, gerebera, birds of paradise (orange is colour). Not sure what else we are having, want some reds and some purples and greens, want flowers nice and bright and not just orange.

just picked up my wedding ring, a 2mm white gold plain band. decided to change it as if i didnt wear my engagement ring then it might look silly on its own, also i dont want to take away the details of the er so i changed it to a plain band.

also went with dad to look at mens favour ideas (changed my mind again ha ha ha) and sister sent me a pic of some jewellery for the girls so im going to meet her in glasgow with the girl see if she can do my idea for the necklaces for them too.

also going to design my invitations for the people coming to my hen tea party that arent on facebook :) so ill be busy today

Hi Natasha sorry I didn't see your comment! The appointment was great. The advisor we had was lovely, very down to earth and chatty - not just making a sales pitch, which was just as well as my son was very talkative! She was with us for about an hour, brought 144 different rings (my son counted!!)> She looked at my ring and advised which ones she thought would work best and spoke about the matching work they can do to make your WR and ER fit like a jigsaw... It was really nice to be honest! xx

NatashaB70 i think its the fact I am making these keyrings, and (this is really stupid) everyone is going to see them. I know that people will see the invites, but thats only the invitees where as the keyrings, as they are place names as well suplliers and everyone is going to see them. i know its silly.

that and the fact im making them and i know for a fact at least10 of the 80 wont be coming, but i still have to make them on the off chance they do come.

Antonia 2008, where is the best place? I need bubbles
