I still can't decide what to have. I did see mini terracotta pots with a votive candle in and a ribbon round the other day, they looked cute.

I have found a website that does free templates an have got one for a DIY wedding seen packet. Has a cute little phrase on the front and space to write guests name, so you print them at home on whatever paper you want. All it will cost us is the paper ink and seeds. And as they have names on they are also the place name. We have got personalised rolls of mini love hearts (when I get round to sticking the personalised wrappers on!) I love the mini jam jar ideas too though. We are also having a DIY sweetie buffet and I managed to get 100 striped bags from ebay for £1.87!

I am half way through making my gents favours!! I got the little bottles and have got matthew to stick our lables on them as he wanted a job to do lol. Now ive also finished cutting out our tags that ive made and just needing matthew to decide what whiskey he's wanting so i can pop on the tag have a drink on us and something to say what it is inside but my problem is im having yankee candle samplers for the ladies and popping them in little red organza bags but should i make tags for them or should i just leave them in the bags?

Tablet and macaroon in organza bags for everyone with tags with our names and date of wedding on. Bath bombs in ivory boxes for ladies, lottery tickets rolled in ribbon for men. We are also having a large sweet cart for the whole day and each bag will have a personalised sticker on. The two kids that will be at the wedding are my own little boy and my sil2b and Keillor have personalised boxes for them filled with a small teddy, sweets, glow stick and another small gift.

we keep changing our minds. first we were going to have bride and groom biscuits but then we got a candy cart so we didnt want anything sweet, then i found some mini jam jars for 25p each but h2b didnt like the idea so we scrapped it, so was thinking about wedding day yankee candle tarts. But then i thought what if they havent got a candle burner? Wont it be a bit of a useless gift if they havent got a candle burner? Iv already bought the organza bags and a sampler wont fit in them x

Just ordered my favours... I am getting the Cancer Research pins on a card personalised with bride/grooms name and date of wedding.... My own mum is fighting cancer right now and everyone knows someone who has been hit by cancer so I thought put the money to good use and my guests still get something to take away.

I have only done daytime guests but have got a few extras for a few evening guests.
