    Yay weighed myself this morning and another 1lb off!!! So thats 18lbs in total now!! Have 5 weeks till my dress fitting, so hoping to lose another 5lb at least!!!! Doing a minimum of 30k each week at the gym is slowly paying off!!!! :) xx

    Im back on WW properly now day 3 and im finding it a struggle but its my body just getting used to not having any junk, The good thing with this diet tho is as long as I don't go over the points its ok to have a bit of chocolate.

    STeak and potato croquets and veg for dinner and im so looking forward to it :)

    I'm having a ridiculous hard time dieting! I'm size 16 now and my diets are only lasting about three days max :( I'll see something wedding related get totally motivated. But just can't seem to stick with it at all :( although H2b is sat next to me right now eating cream cakes so I'll give him alittle of the blame!

    Hi girls when I first joined this site just over a year ago I joined this thread and lost the half a stone I wanted too and kept it off all summer :-) However over the winter it has crept back on :-(

    My problem is I LOVE cooking and baking, which also means I eat a fair bit!! I also love socialising with friends and often eating out, whether its a trip to a coffee shop after the school run with the school mums, afternoon tea with friends or meals out with H2B!! Luckily I burn a few calories by running up to 10 miles every Sunday and one visit to the gym in the week, plus as a nurse I run round all day/night at work, and that's before I run around after my two girls!!

    I started back on WW this week and have my first weigh in on Monday - I will lose this half a stone and keep it off for my wedding!

    Cayla, you need to make sure you have an eating plan that allows for treats, and don't feel that if you eat too much one day you've blown the diet. Just start again the next day. Aim for 1400 calories and 30 mins exercise each day.

    I had my first skype personal training session tonight. I feel so energetic and inspired! Empowered and full of all those endorphins everyone’s been going on about! This is seriously the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

    Well done Emma :) Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself.

    Have measured myself for the first time since 14th March and am VERY surprised.

    I haven't been as strict on myself recently due to time restraints and being ultra busy at work (although that could have impacted on my results as I am based in the PE department at work!) and haven't been able to get to badminton for the last couple of weeks due to H2b working as much overtime as poss to ensure we aren't short for the wedding and playing badminton on your own is pretty much impossible lol! Also, its that time of the month and not sure about you ladies but when I am on I just eat rubbish!!

    Anyway my current measurements are;

    Bust - 38inches
    Waist - 33inches
    Hips - 39.5inches

    Since 14th March I have (somehow) LOST another 2.5inches.

    My starting measurements (14th January) were;

    Bust - 41inches (lost 3inches)
    Waist - 35.5inches (lost 2.5inches)
    Hips - 43.5inches (lost 4inches)

    So, in total since 14th January I have lost 9.5inches. :)

    We CAN do this!! I've lost 23 lbs since January. My BMI is still over 30 and I get some really hard days but I know I can loose a bit more. Swimming and Aqua Zumba are fun I go with a friend and it definitely helps. Good luck all and just imagine yourselves on the morning of your wedding xx

    I need to invest in some scales or measuring tape :P I have taken to walking to and from work each day so that is 5 miles each day and then 4 hrs rushing around like a nutter at work :D

    I have finally broken through a 4 week plateau & lost 1lb, it's my totm so I'm hoping for a bigger loss next week.
    I'm going to make a real effort to track everything I eat from now on, as I definitely eat more than I realise, by picking at snacks, kids dinner, etc.

    Dreaded weigh in for me tonight at ww. Been an up and down week. Not counted as went away for conference and didn't have a clue what anything was but generally been good and sticking to fruit and healthy meals. Except the other day I got set ridiculous targets with work (again) and it stressed me out so went to cinema with moh that night and we ate a burger as well as peanut m&ms ... Whoopsie. Comfort eater I am!

    I'm literally dangling over losing a stone since the end of January, but the last few pounds won't budge!! I see a lot of changes with my body, but my actual weight lose has seemed to have stopped! Sooooo frustrating! X

    To everyone who has "cheat days" or whatever, fitness works best when you go to the gym and diet no matter what. No cheating, no days off, make it a lifestyle. You'll feel better and your new body will last way past your wedding day :)

    In some ways I wish I had the motivation to got to the gym, then I remember I have a man that loves me no matter what. We do enjoy going together when we can but I like the security of having him there when I go so don't go alone. On a positive note we are both using my fitness pal to record our meals and that is stopping me from over eating. Weight in day tomorrow, fingers crossed

    Lost 2.6lbs in 3 weeks.. Just started new job which has helped me lose just over 1lb in the last week because I'm running about like a headless chicken.. Hopefully the start of my weight loss! Wanting to lose around 2st to start off with (much more to lose!) x

    Just remember ladies; it is not all about the weight loss; take measurements too as I was told that my weight ay or might not change as muscles weighs more then fat so you may be losing the fat but building up the muscle :D

    Yay lost 2.5lb this week, a total loss of 15.5lb in 8/9 weeks :)
    Now to lose 2 more stone, hoping to do this within the next 4-5 months, so I can finally go dress shopping!!

    Sounds like we are doing well :)

    This time in 2 weeks I shall be by a pool on my Hen Do in Portugal. I tried my Bikini's on the other day and even managed to buy a new one and for once I actually felt good in them and nowhere near as self conscious as I have done previously. That to me must be a good thing lol!

    Weighed in last night using the gym scales (where you pay); not going by weight loss anymore but have lost 9% body fat and 7% body fat mass since Feb!! Yay!!! Its going in the right direction! xx

    Well I went shopping today and managed to buy two pairs of size 8 jeans which has made me very happy! However I still have 4 pounds to lose until I am happy and 7 pounds until I am where I would ideally like to be as well as a lot of toning to do but I'm medically not allowed to do this yet so I am just going to be happy wih the fact I've gone down a jean size at the moment! Xxx

    Wooo feeling great - not been able to get to the gym this week but I have just tried on my practice dress (the one I got as motivation for the real dress as its down a size from where I am now) and for the first time I was able to do the zip up all the way! The dress is currently to tight for me to consider wearing it out in public just yet but my body is definitely shrinking... at this rate I may even be comfortably in a size 6 by the wedding which would be amazing as that was the size I was when I first started seeing my OH. Goal was always a size 8 so I'm not putting any pressure on myself to go beyond that - if I keep up the momentum and it happens then great but its not the end of the world.

    Well, this is my first entry on this thread, but thought I'd share :)
    Hubby and I have been keeping a log of our diets on MFP for the past 7 weeks. We've both found it really useful to see what we actually eat and to see what is actually in the food we eat. I've lost 1st 2lbs so far and hubby has lost almost a stone and a half.
    This week is going to be a toughie though as we're both off work for the next 10 days!

    So I'm signed up to do the London to Brighton bike ride (about 50 miles) in June and today I got on my bike for the first time in about 10 years. I went with a friend (who's training for a marathon so he was running) around Rutland Water (about 17 miles) and it took us 2 hours 17 minutes - not a good start to my training! I guess I can only improve from here. Will do some more training at the gym tomorrow if my poor behind can handle it.

    Im so down , I have 2 and 1/2 3 months till my dress gets here and I swear everyone is losing weight apart from me. My mum, loads of my friends are reguarly posting lost another 2 lbs this week etc. I swear I've gained weight but scared to look. I've been comfort eater and so stressed lately, aswell as bored. I been trying to be good but I just cannot get my head into the right mindset. ><

    The best trainer at my gym (who has gone off to set up his own gym recently) once said to me that he very rarely gets his clients to watch what they eat, having seen him training clients I can see why! He always accused me of going hardcore in my workouts but just watching his clients get a PT session made me sweat!
    If comfort eating is your thing and avoiding it is going to stress you out even more then you always have the option of hitting the gym like a maniac until you no longer feel the urge to comfort eat then go back to your normal workout routine.
    You may not have actually gained any weight at all and are just thinking you have because you know you've been comfort eating. Sometimes our bodies are just kind to us and let us get away with eating anything and everything and other times we can put on weight just looking at an eclair. The best thing is to weigh in and find out for sure - it may be the motivation you need to get your mindset back.

    A manageable diet and exercise programme should allow you to lose two pounds a week, which would give you nearly a stone in 2 months. Aim for 1400-1500 calories a day, half an hour aerobic exercise a day, and some strength exercise every day such as toning.

    Have just re-measured myself and my latest lot of measurements are;

    Bust - 38inches (no change since last time)
    Waist - 32.5inches (-0.5inches)
    Hips - 39inches (-0.5inches)

    Have lost anther inch and that takes my total to 10.5inches lost since January. Even managed to fit into a size 12 top earlier which I was mega chuffed about (especially with my boobs haha!) Never thought I would get back into a 12, was only a strappy top but still I was quite impressed.

    Have my final dress fitting May 9th so I am now hoping to maintain what I am at now. My dress on my last fitting (last Weds) needs taking in so I hope I can stay as I am as I would hate it to need be taken back out lol!

    Weighed myself after a month, and am down to 57.7 kilos, from 59.8. I would have been happy just to maintain, and was generally spending the weeks working hard to make up for weekends away when I didn't have control of my diet. I'm definitely looking more to just stay where I am now, and focussing on toning, although I will still watch what I eat and keep cycling to work. I'm starting to record measurements, and I cant' remember where I was last time, but I think my waist has gone down slightly. It's 78.5 cm. Upper arm (where I'm really keen to tone up) is 29.5 cm, hips 98.5 cm, thigh 48.5, and bust 92.5. I haven't got as far as converting them to inches yet, but I might do that at some point.

    Hiya. Not posted on this year's thread.

    I gave up crisps, popcorn and chocolate for lent, but my biscuit intake suddenly increased! But since 1st April I've been doing a 30 day eat clean detox (people at the gym are doing it). I must say I feel better physically, healthier but not lost anything! I must give up snacking on raw cashew nuts (which are allowed). I really need to lose the weight I've put on in the past 2 years.

    I have 4lbs to lose until my target (pre pregnancy weight) and it is coming off very slowly!! I love food so that bit is tricky but thankfully I have fallen in love with running which has not only helped kick start weight loss but means my legs and bum are looking much more toned and I feel great! Did my first half marathon today - such a great buzz and it burned hundreds of calories too - bonus!!

    Keep up the hard work ladies :-)
