    Hiya. We're also having a wedding far from where we live/are from. We live in Shetland but I'm from the west coast of Scotland and he's from Norway and we're getting married in Fife on the east coast of Scotland just to make things awkward! It's taken a while finding the perfect suppliers as I've only got the internet to go by for reviews etc but it's all falling into place for us now.

    GF lives on the Isle of Wight so might be able to give you some hints and tips.

    We got married only about 25 miles from home back at my home town where I grew up so it was easy to plan.

    Many people go abroad to get married these days though.

    Question: all the adverts that appear are for business nearby where I live , is there anyway to change this so that they are targeted for Jersey, or should I change my home address to a Jersey one?
