i tried on my first dress today, i no im not getting married for 23 months but wanted to get idea of what styles i like etc, the lady gave me such a look when she asked when the big day was, also there was a different dress i fell in love with but they only had one in a size 6 which is nowhere near my size! i asked if she could get hold of it in my size and she said yes but only if i had the intention of buying it!!! they had no other simillar dress and im not gonna commit to a dress i havnt even tried on!!!

How annoying. Although the shops have to buy the sample dresses they have.

How rude!! id go somewhere! did u get the name and make of the dress you liked if so google which other outlets stock then and try another shop im sure you will find it in another size! and size 6 really thats just crazy! good luck xx

How rude! Never mind you have plenty of time to find a more helpful shop! Best of luck. You are wise to start looking now - sometimes it seems impossible to find the one and then suddenly it is there!

i'd look elsewhere did you get name of dress im sure you could find it elsewhere, i had a funny look from mine but for a funny reason i tried on a massive dress i knew i would look stupid but you have to don't you haha she laughed at me i did look ridiculous haha x

how rude, hope when u go looking again u find a nicer shop hun, the dress that i thought i want they didnt have in the shop but they said they could get it in for me to try on but they would have to charge me a small fee for doing it, but didnt need to i the end luckerly as feel in love with a different one in the end xx

I think wedding dress shop running is quite difficult and hard, because they are so expensive and not that many people really get married anymore. I know it's not an excuse for being rude, but maybe she was just having a tough day and kinda wanted someone who wanted to commit to buying.

Some people are so rude. There's nothing wrong with shopping around for ideas. I would go to a few bridal salons and see if they have that dress or something similar for you to try on. Sorry to hear the rude woman spoilt your experience x

i had to pay £400 out of £790 however they did delay order for me incase i needed a bigger size but the size 6 was a lil big and i'd just had baby so i'm sure it'll be fine x

Im ment to be going dress shopping at the end of november but were not going to be buying any just want to try them on and try on bridesmaids dresses to its just for fun really but were not going to tell the shops that ive already found my perfect dress and my bridesmaid dresses only thing left to sort out clothes wise is the kids and best man shouldnt be to hard to find a flower girl dress and a shirt for 2 boys and the best man
