We're not completely sure yet, but we're def having mini candelabra's on either end and are thinking of swagging a little like this but in our colours

Then I was thinking possibly some rose petals along the top and just having my bouquet... possibly the two bridesmaids bouquets placed in the middle?

Im not having a "top" table persay so will be the sameish as the rest, apart from hoping to have more swags around the edge.

Right one of my bridesmaids has suggested a couple of things, what do you think about having the two candelabra's on either side and then 3 of these along the table

We would have yellow rose petals along the table, I love this as we wanted rose petals on the cake table so that ties in really well with that.
Our colour scheme is yellow and purple, do you think if we have the swagging in yellow and purple across the front of the top table that would look nice, or would it look a bit too much? would we be better sticking with white and purple?

We're just having rustic flowers: sunflowers, gypsophilia,daisies and wheat arranged in a top table centrepiece with bits of wood x

I love the scattered rose petals, I think incorporating the bouquets into the top table decorations is a fab idea, otherwise they just get dumped somewhere.
We can't decide wether or not to have a top table, we're having an informal wedding & want more of a party atmosphere. We're having a buffet so it's not essential that we have a seat/table as I doubt we'll have time to eat anyway. Also if we do have one it would have to go on the dance floor, so it would literally be there just so we can do the speeches & then cleared away. There is way to much to think about, my head will explode way before the wedding comes around.

We've having swagging as it is in our package; we might have small 'diamonds' scattered across the table and not sure yet to what we'll use as the centre piece. Your idea is lovely though :)

We have hot pink swagging and mr and mrs on the table with rise petals across the front and fish bowls with gerberas in at each end

We are having the BM bouquets placed in goldfish bowls, plus mine along our top table - there will be 6 plus mine so more than enough to decorate the top table.

Right so the plan is swagging in yellow and purple, candelabra's on either side, bouquets in the middle and yellow and purple rose petals along the table.... best thing is, candelabra's are already booked and only costing £10 for the pair, bouquets we'll have to have anyway and my bridesmaid is going to get me the swagging and the rose petals (I'll give her the money back but she'll get a good deal as she has contacts.)

We're having swagging, with a wooden MR&MRS sign and rose petals. We have a floral arrangement on our register table which we will probably have moved over to the top table as well-wish I'd thought of using the bouquets instead now!x
