Anyone wear these? I got a pair for Christmas and wear them about 6 hours a day. My legs really ache after a while but havent really seen any improvement in muscle tone! Just wondering if anyone else uses them and whether you think they've made a difference?

I don't have any but have heard reviews on them that although they do work eventually, you shouldn't wear them for prolonged periods as they can have a detrimental affect on your joints or back. I would probably wear them to go for a decent walk and then take them off and let your legs rest. :)

I remember a thread on here about ugg boots and these were mentioned.
Goff (who works in this area...feet not shoes lol) said they did NO good what so ever and actually both the trainers and the ugg boots actually cause LOADS of problems for your feet and your legs in time!
Knew there was a reason i hated ugg's lol
Next time shes on have a word with her and see what she says, dont worry she wont bite :-)

Yeah I did think it was a bit weird that I was aching so much and not gaining any muscles! They're so cushiony that they help loads with my joint pain on bad days though so I'm not giving them up completely! lol thanks ladies x

    Ok - professional head on

    DO NOT WEAR THESE THINGS!

Your legs ache because you are using muscles that are NOT meant to be used - its unnatural and you are doing more harm than good.

We prescribe rocker soles to people who have ankle fusions and other limited motion at the foot and ankle - you DON'T have limited motion.........so you figure out what they are doing for a healthy foot and ankle! And don't forget....whatever happens at your feet will affect the whole body - knees, hips, spine etc.....

Please bin these god awful things, they will NOT tone up any part of your body - the only thing that will do that is a good diet and exercise. They are a gimmick - nothing more

PS: Millwalljayne - if you are in pain with your joints, get to your GP and ask to be referred to an Orthotist - we can do a full musculo-skeletal assessment, find out whats going on and hopefully address the symptoms.

    Thanks Goff.

The joint pain is apparently down to my underactive thyroid so my doctor isnt willing to refer me anywhere until hes found the balance with my meds, he seems to think it will disappear as soon as thats sorted. But think I will definitely take your other advice! :)
