    for people getting thier R.S.V.P's back to us and we are only waiting on 2 people. i am very happy that nearly everyone has replied by the date stated. the 2 that we are waiting for is h2b's nan who is very ill :( she might not live long enough for for the wedding, we will be keeping her place open regardless. the other is my uncle who has had no contact with me at all since i said his lady friend (who i have never met) could not come to the day but could join us for the evening.

    You're a lucky girl to have such efficient friends. I used to be one of those people that responded late/when chased. I have recently received an invitation and made a point of RSVPing as soon as I could, I know the stress it will cause me if people waited until the last minute x

    I was pleased that i only had to actually chase 3 people, they all replied saying that they werent coming. I think it seems that if someone is coming they reply and if they are not then to them it is unimportant, nothing about pure good manners! :(

    Im the majority of our day guests can all come as they are close family and a few very close friends

    Will be a little upset i think if i get declines

    Well thats quite good. I am fearing chasing people, I have no patience and if someone knows they'll come I think it's polite they let you know straight away.

    Thats great to have so many get back to you. Have you not got another family member that could ask your uncle and get back to you on his behalf? At least you know then if you need to keep his place open or fill it with someone else. x

    future mrs drake, i rang my aunt last night to see if she could have a word with my uncle (her brother) and low and behold, when i got home this afternoon his rsvp was on the mat hand delivered :)
    so we now have all apart from h2b's nan, which we will keep a space or her. we have only had 4 declines which are 2 of my cousins that are working over sea and h2b's half brother and his girlfriend who both claim they cant get the day off work, although they have known the date for over a year and they only work in shops!

    thats great that almost everyone has replied on time! :o) We've still got 2 weeks left for our day ones and are only waiting on 5 people, but have 4 weeks left for evening invites and are still waiting on about 10 - all my colleagues have responded already but very few of the family members have. They've only had the invites 4 weeks! lol
