ok so yesterday was so nice so we had a bbq and sat out in the sun all day, i of course put on suncream but still managed to burn a bit on my left arm so now this morining i have one lovely tanned arm and one slightly coloured right arm, and white skin where my vest top is, my dress is strapless! i know i have 5 mnths but i am thinking say i catch the sun like this again not long before the wedding how am i going to fill in the whiter bits i don't wnat tan lines the only way this is possible is if i go topless from now until the wedding i was considering getting a very light spray tan if this was the case to even it out, would this work or just show up the lines more? x

erm i think it wud work - they'll spray u all over but more so on the areas that are lighter than the rest xx

haha i suppose all i can do is try if i look odd then so be it! x my face feels like that too, nice to get a bit of colour i'm almost see through in the winter! i seem to colour better since we went to Egypt 2 years ago x

I'm dreading this- I tan so easily, and with the wedding in August I'm going to have loads. Plus- Pidge won't marry me if i get a fake tan!

buy some strapless tops/dresses bought a lovely floral dress in primark for a fiver. when it's chilly throw on a cardi and when the suns out bronze up in the lovely sun :)

see i don' t really like strapless tops and i don't wear dresses haha hmmm why am i wearing a strapless wedding dress haha, my job i can' t where them incase i get bitten or scratched so its t-shirts in the summer, at my other job its not really appropriate due to some residents behaviours towards woman in summer clothes if you know what i mean

could you not use a light dusting of foundation, or coloured talc, over the white bits!
My dress is strapless, i'll be wearing bandeau tops nearer the top, to aviod white marks. Not that i ever tan. I went to Sri Lanka for two weeks a couple of years ago, and still came back looking like a milk bottle. xx

How about using some moisturiser with fake tan in everyday...I have used that in the past and it really builds up a good colour..even on my big white freckly face!

Sorry for repeating - I am the QUEEN of not reading entire threads...!
..and no they are not as 'disaster' prone as fake tan!
LOL my SIL got married in a 3/4 length strapless dress 2 days after having a full on fake tanning session...she obviously wore undies straight after the tan and so on her wedding day her bra straps etc had been rubbed off..her legs looked like someone with extremely limited eyesight had applied the tan and her feet (in strappy sandles) wher effing hidous!
LOL she looked a real 'treat' lololololol (do you 'get' I am not her biggest fan?!).

iv had this problem with white bits before, i put on a a high factor sun cream on my tanned bits so they didnt tan any further, left my white bits bare then had 5 minutes on a sunbed, it evened it out but i used a gentle tanning moisturiser all over just to help blend it in all together. worked really well, and ill definatly be doing it again if i get any strap marks x
