Because its a great distraction! How is that seating plan going???????????? That's the bit I am most dreading! Will be bobbing in and out tonight as my cake stand I am bidding on finishes soon and I must have it!!!

Hope you get the cake stand. Dont kno how to do it on here :( It is difficult enough doin it on paper. We agreed we are not goin to mix the guests try keep families together and stuff does anyone else think this is good or bad idea xx

Hi ginge23! Tho do a table plan on here you need to go to your home page and click to write guest list first. You then need to go on to the table plan bit (also on the home page) and select table style and size. Your guests will then be written in little 'coins' that you just need to decide where to sit them. Hope that helps! We are mixing ours because we only have 30 day guests and so thought if it was divided it might feel awkawrd. I guess it depends how many you have going, personally I would like the two families to 'have' to talk to each other because if they are divided I worry that they might not make the effort to get to know the others. Anyway, that just me! Hope it helps!

I think it is better to keep people that know each other together - especially if your family is like mine - close but live all over the place so dont get to catch up very often. People end up mixing themselves up after eating anyway. I like the idea of mixing people up, but know that most of my guests would appreciate being with people they know!

We are doing the same Ginge keeping families together - I don't want to start mixing folk up and then people can't eat their meal or enjoy themselves etc cause they are around people they don't know well!! xx

Right its done and we have kept everyone together. I know when I go to a weddin I would rather be with ppl I know as i feel much more relaxed and enjoy that better. As you said bumblebee ppl do mix afterwards. Thanks for helpin me make our minds up :) Will it look silly if we have a top table of 12 and then 1 table of 10 1 of 9 3 of 8 and 3 of 7? Do I need to try keep all tables the same number of ppl xx
